You can actually make a grille like that out of sheets of raingutter grating found at Home Depot or Lowes.

Hey Guys, to answer your questions, I cant remember what company I bought the mesh from but other members have done the same thing on this site. I ordered 2 sheets "chrome finish" at $75.00 a pop. I have a good friend who manages a body shop have his guys cut and bolt it on. 2. They filled and sanded the side moldings. And painted and baked them twice. As far a the badging goes the letters are from the old RAM SRT-10 that was used on the doors back on the 05 model. I just cut out the SRT letters. It looks awesome, they are the perfect size for the molding. The wheels are Giovanna Dalars with a custom bolt pattern. I wanted something that was unique but not far off from the oem wheels. And the ride is smooth. Much better then the run flats.
Thanks for all the positive feed back, you guys are awesome!!!

They look outstanding!!! And until someone shows me a before and after timeslip-- same day, same conditions, witht he stockers on first, then an aftermarket wheel, I don't buy into the whole loss of performance thing. If you're racing for hundredths of seconds, that's one thing, but I say you made the right choice with the upgrade!!!

Its all about unsprung weight, if those wheels are heavier than the stockers performance will suffer, also if the overall tire height is different it can affect your trucks gearing.

His rears are a perfect match to OEM at 28.96 inches tall.

I was thinking about using them wheels too. That looks hot. Now, I am leaning towards the trento 5s GFGs. Maybe Diko can give them for cheap. Nice ride.

most of the aftermarket wheels guys have put on here are lighter than the stockers.

It isn't speed performance, but more handling and braking. And 10 pounds can make a difference, especially when it comes down to equal modded cars (minus wheels) and automatics. 10-20 pounds regular weight removed isn't much at all, but 10-20 pounds of rotating mass off your car is.

Either way, congrats on the wheels. Enjoy!

Hey guys, I know some of some of you guys have asked the same questions that I have answered before. Please go to post 14 on page 2 for the answers. Anyways it has been a few months since I have put the new wheels on and if the srt8gc turned heads then, WOW!! the looks it gets now. The "Jeep" is officially debadged and I get alot of people scratching their heads. Back to the wheels... I do like the ride, it is alot smoother then the run flats but I feel that I have lost some of that "tight in the turns" feel. I really cant tell when I launch if it have lost any jump, but I have never run at a track to see the numbers. I will tell you this, with the 22's I have out ran a Porche Cay turbo from 75 to about 110. Two 350 z's not even close from 75. The best part of this story is that I out ran a 350(2 people) with 5 people in the GC. It was close but I still out ran it!!! That was funny. I got left in the dust by a Msrt8 not sure if it was stock but from 75 it just kept pulling on me. And yes I know our truck is a brick on the freeway!! So all in all I am happy with the decision. If you are all about tenths of a second dont do it. If you like to change it up and still have a sh*t load of performance go for it. I have oned a 01 M roadster(315hp and a sleeper!!) an 02 M3(333HP)and I can honestly say that after 21000 miles i still get excited to drive it, and still get the question "What is it?!!!" Have fun with your own fella's!!

Other than the color ;) I like everything you've done. I'm glad you didn't go with 24's. As it is, the 22's are close to the "tijuana" look but I think you pulled it off with an excellent visual.
