The Camaro5.com Fest is coming up! I see that Andy from PWR will be racing (Guess he will have his TT Charger there) There is also a group of SRT guys form the challenger forum. This event is going to be HUGE guys. There is already 400 people signed up. Hennessey and Lingenfelter will be there as well. I am going to bring the jeep out there and represent the 5000LB brick club with my buddy who has a 2010 SS.

Camaro5.com is proud to bring you our first annual Track Day / Meet and Greet.

Camaro5.com has become one of the prominent websites for the newest 5th Generation Camaro. As such we want to provide fans of the 5th Gen Camaro a chance to get together and put these exceptional cars to the test. This event is for people of all ages with your choice of lodging at a discounted hotel or trackside camping with showers and power. Camaro5 will also provide three sponsored meals over the course of the weekend event.

Our intent is for this event to appeal to all the different Camaro addictions our members may have. As such we will have competitive drag races at one of the premier strips in the country, used regularly by NHRA teams for testing. Additionally the local SCCA will setup an autocross circuit with professional on course instruction. For those looking for a safer yet just as dynamic event, we are providing a mobile dyno so you can get the "no kidding" power numbers for your car. And, for those of you that can truly appreciate the beauty of this new era of American muscle, we will have a car show to show off your rides to all in attendance. Finally, if you want to see the latest in what the aftermarket specialists are doing, we will have a Vendor's Alley for all of our sponsors to show and sell the latest in Camaro products.

Drivers - $50.00 (Three meals are included in the drivers fee)
Gets all day access to the Drag Strip, Autocross, Dyno and entrance into the car show. Any attendee expecting to race must pay this fee. Special colored wrist bands for Drivers will be issued.
Spectators - $10.00
Allows entry into the facility to watch the activities

Go make those Camaro's look bad... LOL There were 8 out at Fontana I was in my dam near stock R/T running faster.... You guys will kill them if they're stock. These SS's were doing 14.0 to 14.4s I was doing 13.9s..

I have a few of them, and a mini camp grill, not stove :D, and all the stuff we will need for the weekend, i.e. chairs, big ass cooler, lanterns, so we should be fine. Is this going to be a man trip or are the ladies being invited?

I'm in for a guys racing weekend. That's how it should be done. What days are they racing and is it $50 a day to race? Is HB in?

So who else is in on this? Harriest of ballz? How often do you get to camp, drink beer, and race all weekend? I know there are plenty of people in the area that can make this. So who comin with?

I might be up for this if I can get my local camaro buddy to cruise up too. However, there's no tent for me I can assure you! I once stayed in one for 36 days straight and that was enough of that for the rest of my life!!! LOL! Don't mind camping, but not in a tent... I prefer the motor home!

Bad news! My grandma is having surgery the Wed. before this weekend and needs me to take care of her for about 3-4 days. I might be able to shoot down there Sat., but it would be about an 11 hour drive from Raliegh, NC. I might have to back out on this one and this sucks! I guess I'll try to take some vaca. Chris and come down the 24th to Gainsville. Maybe I'll just stay thru the weekend. Sorry guys!
