Hey all,
Again just thinkin thru things here.
Couple of days ago I chatted with Andy from PPP and I was thinking about the 426 poke and stroke. Well I'm kinda just not satisfied with piggy backed computers that help the original ECU even if it is a slow learner. That just sucks.
I'm a Motec or even a bargain basement FAST XFI guy.
The crate 392 does have a tunable Mopar ECU with factory sensors.
Basically does the 6.1 and the Crate 392 have the same block?

The only difference is the bore and camshaft!
Same block.

Yes now I know it's a bolt in, but after that it just won't run HAhahhAaa

The 6.1, 392, 426 share the same block.
As you know, the problem with the 392 crate swap is mating the electronics up to the new vehicles.
My 426 should be on the ASM dyno shortly with USER programmable electronics including new sensors etc. Been a long time developing this, but I know it will be worth it! As you know probably better than I do, the electronics are a bit complex to say the least.:confused:

Head is different, sports a 2.10 intake valve--i believe-- and u are right--it won't run on the OEM PCM-- I am told there are a few LX's running around the detroit area with 392's-but their runnin a SMT6 piggy(A DCX experiment)!!! GC

This would be sweet considering the builders of the blown 392 pushing 700 to the wheels are in the next city over.
