I did hear that IL is trying to pass no requirement for a front plate. I don't have a front plate on any of my cars anyways but it would be nice if it goes through. They are trying to do it because it will save them $1 million.

I just took mine off. My front bumper is messed up and is going in tomorrow for a new one. I'm not going to be putting holes in the new one. The only problem with not having the front plate is it gives cops an excuse to pull you over. On a Fri/Sat night. You know what I mean.

I took my front one off and have received 2 tickets. I'd rather pay the $40 fine.
