I'll burn my TIRES first. It started raining today and I couldn't even get traction beyond just a 1/2" of throttle from a dig! Some guy in a Denali blew by me at 35 and thought he had a kill but that didn't last too long :p

I have pulled some nice 1/8th miles on the EVIC -- good MPH, bad ET so I'm optimistic.

Well, in this case, not true. Jim posted his 1/8 mile time on there mistakenly and has no 1/4 mile time posted at all. My 1/8 mile time is even better than his.

Actual times and DA you ran , Once you click the DA it corrects your times Automatically !!! As far as the slip it's up to you .

I think most the time the times are real but you never no because there not going to tell you. You can tell usuall by the mods and what kind of tune they have if there bsing or not. Your suppose to list the SPEED and ET on the run you RAN ON as some list there fastes MPH and ET from differant time slips as that only for listing MPH and ET records.

No question about your honor Jim! Weird about the scan vs picture though. Both produce an image file. :confused: You could always take it to the local Kinkos and have them scan it for you. Or try converting your image to a TIFF. That's usually the default scanner image format. Unless you're talking about an actual photo.

My timeslip image is a JPG and I think I linked it via Photobucket or something.

All images can be uploaded from your computer but has to be resized to 500kb or less .

I posted actual times, not corrected. I don't have a roll cage yet, or any of the other safety equipment needed. Don't know if I'll be back to the track anytime soon.
I wish the guys with faster Jeeps would post their times and maybe that would motivate me. :D

NED!?! That's a far trip but you know, in the dead of summer, it might be worth it for the lower DA ;)

The damn printer for the right lane went bad and they spent about an hour fixing it so I switched to the left lane. I had to go to the tower to get this 'hand-written' slip (with a witness).

Yeah we had really negative DA that day. LOL! No Jim's correct about the corrections. The only problem is I couldn't figure out how to remove my time slip to avoid confusion. I tried entering the times with (Corrected) after them, but they stripped that out. If the weather ever lets me run the newest toon, I'm gonna delete and reenter the new PB without slip, and show altitude as zero. Otherwise I'm a man without a country... :rolleyes:

Me to as mine will correct to 12.367@109.45 lol hehe. DAM cant do that as i be # 13 unless WADE corrects his as his 12.37 will correct to a 12.22 i think then i be # 14 lol. The only 1s that should correct should be at any track over 2500 ft not counting DA. My corrected time of 12.36 is from 3254 ft DA.

Hell I'm the last on the page now. That's what I get for posting my non-corrected time. I was at 12.3 corrected, and now I'd be corrected to 11.54 @ 177.33. I've got two more days to run this season to see if I can beat that.

Yeah Bandimere is a 1/4 only track. But I didn't take that as directed at me. Of course a quick look at my timeslip on DragTimes would clear any confusion. ;)

I had to emasculate my rig this morning to correct for my overzealous quest for power. :( But I've got a full set of Vortech pulleys now. :rolleyes: Not sure how much I lost till I hit the track Wednesday though... I was at around 6400 ft at the shop, and we couldn't find an open spot to make maximum boost anyways. Too many people on the planet and they were all on the road today. LOL!

I was calculating my boost incorrectly. Thanks to JerseyBoy and Toona for setting me on the correct path to enlightenment before I blew it up. :eek: I was making 10.3 psi, as the dyno and my gauge showed, but I didn't believe. Anyways I think I should be a hair under 9 psi now, but I'll find out for sure at the track. So now I'm gonna have to go forged so I can up my boost again. Hey I've got the pulleys, might as well. ;) Figured I might as well add some cubes in the process, so next season I should be much faster, homeless, and destitute. LOL!

My updates finally posted and it looks like a couple other guys have updated their times today as well. You fell 2 spots to 22, which is way unfair as it is not correcting your time for DA and you should probably be in the top 10 with your new pulley setup.

Yeah I was trying to see where I'd end the season without the corrections, even though Bandi's a correctable track. If I post my corrected time right now I'd be at #6. Still might do it. :rolleyes: We'll see where I slot in after the season ends. Got one more Wednesday after tomorrow. But I did at least run honest to goodness 12's.

One thing puzzles me though. When I was N/A I was like two seconds behind the guys at the lower altitudes. Now I'm running 12.4's at 6000 ft and 8500 DA. Seems you guys should all be in the 11's for sure if I'm running that fast up here. I know the blower reduces the difference, but still... ???

New rule if you run in MINUS DA you have to correct to sea level HE HE. To be honest i only have run in minus DA 1 time which was on my last run of the night and it was my slowest run of the night. NHRA does allow 1/2 et 1/2 mph corrections for F/I at tracks with altitudes over 1600 ft.

I think that would be a great outcome as we are all curious to see what these beast will run and what mods can do what. DragTimes is just an easy way to see all that information in one place with the possibility to list all the parameters that resulted in those numbers. I agree, you run what you run. Location is an option too. Everyone has the choice to try different track locations and find better altitude or temps. Take a road trip, enjoy the ride and find out. Not all track are created equal and some are in better shape and better prepared than others, despite DA's.
