Question...I just started the paint process to change the color of the GCSRT from Red Rock to Inferno Red. The combo hood/grille Escalade veted fenders, etc... Question is should I shave the outer door handles? Thanks

Hmmm thats a tricky one. Personally i would love to shave me handels, but from what i have heard it hurts your resale value. I plan on keeping this car for awhile so i fi had the time and money I would, but then again its all personal prefrence

That would be an interesting look on the Jeep. I did shave the handels on my 3000Gt several years back and it did not hurt the sale of the car, it still sold fast.

My opinion.. go for it. It will be a one of a kind for sure.

To clarify i didnt mean that it hurts the value of your car sale($$) but more or less makes the market for whos out to buy the car smaller. But seeing that this is a limited release car i would say it would actually help seeing that people looking to buy these cars would most likley like them shaved.

OCRT is correct, the shaving of the handels will without a doubt thin the market for resale. But if you are going to keep the truck for a while then do it. The truck is going to look totally different.

Even better then that, most people who see it will ask where they are, and how you get into the truck, all will be amazed.

Door poppers. You hit the unlock button on a key fob, and pop, they open.

Ive always been a big fan of shaved handles, but after seeing those = / it reminds me of the new movie "meet the Robinsons" for some reason.. that dinosaur that has the big head and small arms.. just for some reason it looks to me that the car is armless. I guess im crazy =P

yea 2 out of 4 vehicles i own have them shaved but i dunno about this truck... kinda looks better with em

That looks pretty slick. I'd never personally pay the money to have it done...but looks cool none-the-less.

I have to agree 100% with OCRT. I love shaved handles, but it doesn't look perfect on this ride to me.

BIG HEAD AND LITTLE ARMS! LOL That was my favorite.

After seeing the pic's {thanks Street} I have decided to pass on the shaved look. there is somthing missing from the truck when I look at it, it would take alot of getting use to it, maybe in the future but not now, thanks for the input guys.
