Update: It has been requested that this session be primarily used for discussion about the future Grand Cherokee SRT8 replacement. Questions regarding other vehicles will be answered but with a low priority.

Our monthly SRT Engineering Chat Session is coming up. It will be held @ CherokeeSRT8.com (http://www.cherokeesrt8.com) on Wednesday, April 18th from 6pm to 8pm MST. We do have a special session this time, and straight from the SRT Engineering Team, here is the request:

SRT is starting to put together ideas for the replacement vehicle for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and since the SRT Forum(s) community involves some our most avid customers, we felt that this would be the perfect opportunity for you to tell us about what you like and don't like, or what you might want us to do differently.

So this is your chance - When the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is replaced -
what would you want in the new vehicle?

See you at the chat on Wednesday.
So, listen to the man and take this opportunity to add your 2 cents for the future direction of one of the most feared SUV's on the planet.

I don't think the whole SRT line will be around long enough with all DC problems for them to design a new platform.

I will buy a current SRT8 if a MOPAR hitch kit is offered but PLEASE make sure the re-designed SRT8 has a Class III hitch as a factory installed option.

The Class III hitch option/kit could move the pipes apart to come straight back thru a redesigned rear spoiler. The 2" receiver hitch would then mount in the center at the proper height with the standard 7-pin wiring harness receptacle next to the hitch.

I have a tandem axle 6'x12' Cargo Pro/Thule all alumininum v-nose/drop-nose enclosed motorcycle trailer for my '05 BMW K1200S, '00 Ducati Monster 900S and '06 Triumph Daytona 675. The trailer only weighs 1200# and has electric brakes. Please offer me an SRT8 with a factory/MOPAR hitch. Please!

Thanks! -Steve-V in PA
