ive seen this mod countless times on many peoples vehicles... i have been hesitant to do it. is it really that big of a deal? does this mod help in the quarter mile? any help is apreciated.

All these little mods like the tstat, fan, and spacers help the engine run at a cooler temp helping you achieve faster times. Every little thing helps riiight? Unless you are actually at the track or know you are going to race someone, I don't believe that this is a necessity mod. I'm sure there will be plenty more in depth answers than mine.

These 6.1 have a very hard time with heat. So if your racing your Jeep you will want to have the fan mod so you can cool her down between runs. If your not racing its not needed.

THe tourque mod is not needed either, well i guess 420HP in a SUV isnt also. If you want to spin the tires or stop the PCM from telling your jeep what to do rather than you then its a must.

Race mine and you will find out :D

The mods do work, they would work better if we could tune the car, but my B&G Stage 2 will solve that for now.

Stock Jeep SRT8's at Etown were running 13.00 and 13.10 when the air went to sh*t, but I was still hitting 12.8's and 12.9's.
