Do you want to add some killer sound to the SRT8's? The factory stereo is actually really good it you tune it in conjunction with some nice subs. Here is what I added. Trust me, you would not be able to listen to an entire song in this thing at full throttle. And yes, that's an Alpine PDX1.1000 driving the two Boston 12" G5 pro series subs.

Looks good. Our stock system definitely needs some more bass.

I did two kicker 8" L7 's in a ported box with a 1000watt amp. eclipse touch screen dvd/nav deck. now the stock door speakers have to go. they are crap. in my other vehicles with bose they were fine... kind of a bummer.

Not very. Just a few hours of patience and a high to low level converter. The Jeep amp is located in the drivers rear next to the tail light. Makes for a really easy installation.

Doesn't the Alpine amp have the high level inputs? Or is it better to still use the converter?

No high level inputs on the PDX amps. Besides, it's a much cleaner install if you only have to run RCA's to the amp for input.
