: Englishtown 4/14 Strong SRT8 Showing!
Inferno SRT8 04-14-2007, 05:27 PM Just got back from Etown and it was a great day for all SRT8's. A positive DA day @ 200' above sea level and ALOT of SRT8's in the 12's.
My best was 12.8 1/4 mile with a 1.7 60', my trap speed was 106 and my reaction time was .006 im getting good at this! My worst was 12.9 with a 1.8 60'.
Erik Hemi31 was running insane times on street tires! 12.4's!!!!!
It took a Charger SRT8 spraying NOS to knock me out of heads up competition. Thanks FlybyU! If im gonna lose I dont mind losing to a fellow SRT8.
The ride down there was insane to say the least SRT8's, AMG's, 350Z's flying in a straight line to Etown was a great day, im sure all the fellas will chime in as they get home. Great day guys see you again soon!

Yeah I saw your last run sounded really good!
Inferno SRT8 04-15-2007, 07:08 AM Awesome Mario, Congrats. Thanks Dj, Golden come on down NINO!
BTW as my fan mod for the track now all I do it pull the low speed relay and the high speed comes on, my coolant temp on my runs was 185, Dashhawk cleared my CEL due to the pulled relay in the engine bay! She runs ALOT stronger @ 185
nyjpny 04-15-2007, 10:34 AM I had a ball too at E town my best was 12.9 at 104mph ,Rt.009 ,1.8 60ft thats stock with just t-stat and fan mod

gbusy1906 04-15-2007, 10:48 AM The weather conditions, altitude-sea levels really make a big difference. You guys turn really good mph with your trucks. My best mph in the 1/4 is 102.56 with Volant, 180 stat, Corsa. I have been drag racing trackside for over 20 years so I know what I am doing. Now I have added the BG2. I am headed to the track in Hattiesburg today. Good times Gentlemen.
JTSRT 04-15-2007, 11:16 AM I have to admit I am impressed with these trucks. I'll be taking mine out to Englishtown next month for the big event (May 19-20) for the first time. Gonna get some pre-work runs, then dropping it off at HHP in Delaware on the 21st for an overhaul (heads, cam, intake, headers, cats, 2800 stall, fan mod, torque mgmt. mod, 180 stat, ***still awaiting TCM and B&G stage II for 07). So far just a DUB CAI and magnaflow - hopefully I can come close to what half of you are putting down on stock engines...4850 pounds, stock jeeps running 12.8 - 13.4 unbelievable!!! Hopefully some of you will make it out.
nyjpny 04-15-2007, 11:39 AM yeah one more thing my truck with me in it was 4904lbs half a tank of gas

12.8 was me when the DA was its worst, nyjpny ran his 12.9 when the DA was great and early in the day before the sun came out and killed the air, he beat me to the track, early dog gets the bone!
If I remember correctly after the DA went up he nyjpny could only manage 13.00's, not taking anything away from him because he ran strong! But goes to show you mods are needed to level the playing field when the air goes to sh*t.
Im getting the B&G Stage 2 extra ECU for the track hopefully this week and ill have it for the next track meet.
Ronin 04-15-2007, 08:30 PM Man...E-Town is too close for me NOT to go!
Maybe in May?
Matty

Orange, ETs change as the weather change, on a negative DA days like when Tony ran his 12.5 even stock SRT8s where in the 12s. On warmer weather now (4/14/07) Tony still runs very strong at 12.8, yes that is very impresive but not hard to believe.
On the other thread Hows2nd posted the link to the 12.5 timeslip.
How about Bevsjeep? Not too long ago at Etown (I would say about 3 wks ago) he ran 12.2 on motor alone no nitrous, I'm not sure on his mods but I let him or others comment on that, still no force induction of any kind on that day.
You might want to do a little research on Bevsjeep on the other site, you'll might be even more impress once you see his times.
I hope that helps.
