You sound about right... If you are close to sea-level (in Long Island NY) and the road was level. Do a run in each direction over the same stretch of road.

With basic mods Intake/exh/tune I ran a 4.09 and 4.1 with the Dashhawk that uses the same data.

I'd like to say I noticed, but it seems to only apply to those with the sea level mod... :(

Until this forum I hadn't really noticed how much the 'sea level' mod was worth... And depending on the street... I may get a few feet below.

After reading the stuff Peter posted earlier about ET, trap speed, etc. (great read BTW!), I got to thinking... Oh no... ;) All I need is a lousy 2.65 psi. Doesn't really seem like that much. Just something in the intake path to boost the air going thru. I mean short of a proper turbo or blower. Like some super boxer fan before the throttle body. I'm sure smarter spudz than I, with much sharper points on their heads than mine, have tried to solve this conundrum and failed. But it won't stop me from pondering...

My stock 08 Steel Blue runs 4.3 to 60. If you look at the molecular construction of the binders and enamels in the Steel Blue paint you will find it has lower coefficient of friction, somewhat enhanced emissivity, and is far lighter than the other collors. That's why the SBMs are a lot faster...

Scrap off the paint, remove the rear seat, door panels, and head liner, and use the Dash hawk....it will get you 0-60 in under 3. For the best times, always use the Dash!

Sorry the time-space continuum is still sort of warped from when I got out of my SBM SRT-8 last. Kinda jacks with my spelling.

My modern blue ran 4.4 sec 0-60 mph twice with 1 passenger, in back to back tries. It was about 30 degrees out. Very consistent. There was very little if any wheel spin. I am thinking I can hit 4.2 with less weight (i.e. gas, passenger) and a little colder temp. My Jeep has about 8,000 miles on it now. When I first tried the 0-60 timer it was over 80 degrees and by myself I only managed a 4.8 sec 0-60mph.

was that stock? ... also, where are you located?

I figure .2 sec improvement for every 10° drop in temp... my 2009 ran 4.5 sec, 49° with 1/2 tank.
