i use an image editing program and just re-size the photo to an appropriate size

probably something like 700px by 500px ...i would say that is good.


to put it in a msg then you would need to upload it to a server (website) somewhere first. (there are a lot of free website providers out there)

Like maxx said use PhotoShop, MS Digital Image, Corel Photo, etc. most of these programs will allow "resizing".
