Just noticed my paint is chipping on the bottom part of where the fog light is!! I'm gonna demand a new bumper from the dealership. I'm pissed.

No I have not. The dealer I bought from is ~1 Hour from my home. I do need to set-up an appointment though.

The fog light surround is unpainted plastic. Where are you talking about?

My was doing the same--they pulled the bumper and repainted.

Mine has started chipping below the fog light also (in the painted secion, not on the plastic :-)

I have a 05 blue laredo loaded up but mine stared to chip then my bumper got scuffed when an idiot ran a red light. I took it get it fixed at the dealer (I don't know what I was thinking) all they did was take a small brush and touch with the little bottle you can buy I was pissed when they didn't re- shoot the bumber so moral of the story take it to a well know body shop because dealer are a pain in the ass and they do a half ass job.

Dropped mine off at the dealer today, they gave me a beat up pt cruiser:(
So much for gettin something somewhat equal to the Jeep.

Got the ride back yesterday. Looks great. They didnt touch it up, at least it doesnt look like it. They also took out a deep scratch on the bumper. :)

I just picked up my silver GC SRT8 a few hours ago and it has less than 60 miles on it. Around the passenger lower fog light, the paint has peeled off in a large strip! I haven't hit any curbs or anything else. There are no abrasion or impact marks. I guess I'll have the dealer look at it tomorrow. I have never seen paint peel off a bumper like this before. Has anyone else seen this? :confused: Needless to say, I'm very upset.

Can someone post a pic of what is peeling?

I just got my jeep a week ago. It is peeling in 3 parts now. I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them. Why is everybody having the same exact problem??? I am not happy at all.

Even though this post in months old, I still love it how one dealership does an unsatisfactory job, so all dealerships must suck......:rolleyes:

I've been waiting monthes for the go ahead from DCX to get my peeling front bumper repainted.

Mine was coming off all over the place. Dealer had it painted for me.

After 15,000 miles, my front bumper had a patch about 3" square under the fog light that was peeling.
Dealer got the O.K. from Chrysler to have it done, picked up the car from dealers paint shop today, after 3 days !
Apparently when they got down to the job, blew an airline accross the peling area the paint came off in sheets !
They removed the bumper, stripped it ( and repaired the scuffs underneath) then keyed it thoroughly before re-paint.
Excellent job done, car came back looking like new, so well done Chrysler UK !

Nice work. If the painter can paint, might have come back better than new...
