Is it normal to dream 24/7 about this truck? It seems that most of my time and thoughts are geared toward getting my truck on the 30th........ 2 long, very long weeks away. I even carry the brochure with me in the car to glance at it on the way to work (sick I know).
I remember only having it this bad before getting my SVT LIGHTNING back in 01.
I drove By the dealer today to see the beast in daylight since I had seen it only once under the dealer lights at night.....
All I can say is WOW!!!! Red Rock looks hot!
Anyway, let me know if I'm a freak or something.... but remember, the X-Men are also considered freaks in their society of Humans who just don't get it.

I had the same feeling while waiting for mine to be built and delivered. I ordered it on 1/5/07 delivered to me on 2/21/07. Longest wait of my life! But let me tell you it is worth it! It's an awesome vehicle.:D :D :D :D :D :D

I am also an x-lightning owner, I had a 2000 and a 2004. I loved my lightning but the GC SRT8 is a much better ride, ergonomics, options and performance. I do miss the blower whine.

Once the SRT was in my sights, it only took me a couple weeks to pull the trigger and all of that time was spent hunting one down in the great State of Texas.

Good luck, you will not look back.

I know I won't. You guys sell me so easy..... I guess that's why we're Mutants....lol.

Not at all... I forgot to mention I drove out of my way 30 min to pass by the dealer where mine is- to see it....(without stopping so the sales guy doesnt see how desperate I really am). Man, this is tuff. .... tick...tock...tic....tock...

I am also an x-lightning owner. had a black 01. Loved the whine of the blower combined with the roar of the V8, but the GC SRT8 is so much better there is truly no comparison to me.
I had to wait on a settlement to get mine. had it lined up for about a month and was chomping at the bit every day and couldn't sleep at night until I had it lol.
I think we are all the same.

I have had mine almost a year ( I cant believe it)

and still act like that. I ll always do the triple-take when walking away from it in the lot.:)

The reason I'm waiting is because I'm waiting for my commision check on the 30th. thats usually the big check.... mid months check is scraps when you're in sales. Thats all.

my dealer was nice to me. i did my own financing and it took a couple weeks to get everything processed. in the mean time my dealer took my trade in, let me take the jeep, made me sign an IOU (or whatever they called it), and off i went. one of the happiest days of my life (sad isn't it?).:D
