Is this available? I was able to find and download it for my Dodge Ram and it was the most valuable document I had for working on the truck. I'd really like to find one for the new Jeep.

Do you guys know where to find one of these or is there a different manual that's available that you use?

About a year ago and approx. $125 I got six 2008 factory service manuals for the JeepGC. Don't know if downloadable ones are available?
Check out the E-xxx auction site.

Awesome thanks Startech. The one I have for the Ram has procedures for removing and installing everything on the vehicle as well as the exploded parts diagrams. Is there something like that as well?

Yeah this manual seems like its just the parts list for the Jeep. It would be nice to find or buy a Manual that has remove and installation of major components to the Jeep.

i can get the full service manual through dealerconnect, but im not sure if i can save the whole manual, just bits and pieces, not sure though. i know it gives me detailed information on literally everything, as dealerconnect is from chrysler llc, aka the people who made these things. if anyone needs any kind of specific info, just let me know, id be glad to help.

Let me know how big it is? Maybe you can FTP it to me if its in the GB of size. Because all I would need to open it then would be Adobe Acrobat Reader. I really don't do much work on the intenral engine, but its nice to have just in case you want to look something up. You know?

Yes ditto that. The one for the 2005 Dodge Ram is a 216MB pdf file.

If you have the PDF for the Jeep, I 'm sure we can all figure out a way to get it available (FTP or some other file sharing service).

So is this a Jeep OEM service manual on CD or is it more like a Chilton Manual? Do you find it very useful? Is there anything that its missing you can think of?

post#16 is what dealers OEM used before dealer connect.."tech connect"...it was made by chrysler for chrysler techs not a "chiltons type" way way better. Its a very detailed book or cd...get the cd. I know first hand because I use to order them for my customers..:)

Techauthority has the official OEM manuals. The 395 is for the actual printed copy and 120 for the CD is I remember correctly. I bought mine for 120 from there. The CD isn't exactly pdf format, more like and interactive type CD.
It's more like the dealerconnect site for just the Jeep.

I found factory service manuals for the wk but it only goes up to 5.7L. Still pretty good though. I also heard somewhere(though I would never do such a thing) that someone used utorrent or similar to search for the service manuals and downloaded them. Not so sure about that route.

Also then manuals I have really get into good engine detail but just for the 3.7,4.7,5.7 I getting a different one as we speak. Hope it includes the 6.1

I bought my set of service manuals for my 08 off of eBay for $115. It is the regular 6 volume set of Chrysler service manuals.
