kramsay1234 04-11-2007, 10:17 PM Has anyone bought one of these? I am not that sold on the oval logo, but they look like good quality.

maxxjeep 04-11-2007, 10:41 PM nope, but i'm considering picking up a few of those srt-4 ones just to get the srt part :)
OurZoo 04-11-2007, 11:21 PM For that price, I might just have to get one and throw it on the steering wheel just to see?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Ever since I got my shift knob, I just have to have the JEEP goneso off my steering wheel.
Eh2BRUTEh 04-12-2007, 05:56 AM Ordered two. We'll see if it eradicates steering wheel Jeep logo. Will take pics if it looks half decent.
kramsay1234 04-12-2007, 07:52 AM great - look forward to it Brut.
I bought 5 of the 50MM size- they are perfect- put one on the steering wheel- and the other 4 to cover the word jeep on the wheels-had the car in for svc. the dealer asked how did I do that- duh- decals!!! but they have a like 3-d effect- nicely made- not flat looking at all- very happy with the small investment- the guy that made them - they were sent to me from Greece.

I think he means pics of them actually mounted on the vehicle.
theoneyoucantreplace 04-12-2007, 09:02 AM Hey guys... I measured the steering wheel center cap. It closer to 2.75-2.8 inches. The sticker is 2.0 inches. This will not work to address our steering wheel cap issue. Save your money. We will have to keep looking for another solution.

kramsay1234 04-12-2007, 09:13 AM squigmang - I am still anxiously awaiting your mock up. But happened to see this last night. My fear with a straight flat 2D sticker is that it might look like a sticker. This was interesting because it was raised and almost looks coated with something. Doesn't look like it was printed by a standard vinyl decal machine. Can you do this style?
Now that someone has replied that they have bought and installed them on the steering wheel and rims, pics of them installed would be very helpful for everyone.

theoneyoucantreplace 04-12-2007, 09:40 AM Sounds great. Please PM me your pics of the sticker when ready. Thanks for the update and your help.

Ok let me apologize in advance for the poor quality of pictures but I did this with my camera phone in the garage. Its a monsoon outside right now. :D
I have the decal on both my steering wheel and rims.
Here is a picture of the decal on my steering wheel.
theoneyoucantreplace 04-12-2007, 11:31 AM The steering wheel one looks better than I expected. I was measuring the outer dimensions for the 2.75. It looks like the sticker fits in the middle and the main hard ring stays in place. How flat does the sticker lay? Are there any bumps or sunken areas behind it?
Thanks!
No bumps or sunken areas at all- just wish when I put on steering wheel and wheels- I didnt do it in a dark garage- I could have done a better job at centering it- but the decal has a dimension look too it- its smooth and soft to the touch- Have them on for weeks now- salt, snow- whatever here in NY hasnt affected the looks. the steering wheel one looks like it belongs not thick or standing out to much- it looks like it was made for that area
hope my input helps- but certainly cheap enough for the change- and getting rid of word- Jeep in those areas.

Ok good . Maybe I did not throw away my money by jumping on these stickers after all. If no new pics surface I'll post some pics when the stickers arrive and I slap them on.
kramsay1234 04-12-2007, 12:28 PM I like the way it fits on the steering wheel.
Thanks DMB for the pics and we will get more from Eh2BRUT soon.
Must have been copyright reasons they didn't use the true logo.
carbondave 04-12-2007, 12:46 PM I have one on my steering wheel also and it is better looking in person.
Eh2BRUTEh 04-18-2007, 07:13 PM Well the decals from Jolly Old England showed up in the mail today. I like how it looks. Decide for yourself. I have posted two higher res photos in the photo gallery.

OurZoo 04-18-2007, 07:19 PM Looks like a pretty good mod to me. Hmmm, looks like the auction is closed. Ughhhhhh. Anyone have one extra one they would like to part with?
squigmang 04-18-2007, 07:22 PM yours looks like less of a gap than BMB's on the steering wheel.
Eh2BRUTEh 04-18-2007, 07:22 PM Best and only mod for under $15 (bought two decals just in case) I'll probably do.
kramsay1234 04-18-2007, 09:08 PM Brut - I'm likin it and it looks like a really good tie in with the SRT 8 shift knob. I spoke to the seller last week and they are also making one that is all in chrome with the oval as opposed to the white and red. I like the white and red now that I see good pics on your truck. Think will be buying one of the styles one way or another. Nice job and thanks for the pics.
OK, it is true when I put the decal on the sterring wheel I didnt center it properly- did it in a dark garage- and with a lousy cell phone pic- you guys saw a space there- ok - glad i bought extra decals- re-did it and this time it is on perfect- it is centered now,
I have to be careful on here-
enjoy

COL P 04-19-2007, 09:40 AM If anyone has an extra one (only want it for the steering wheel), they will sell please PM. I think it looks great.

I ordered mine this way and it went without a hitch. Arrived from England to Toronto in about one week by mail. No hassle.
Go~RillaWRX 04-24-2007, 08:12 AM So if I want one for both the shifter and wheel, which ones do I buy?
kramsay1234 04-24-2007, 09:18 AM 50mm for the steering wheel for sure. You will have to measure the shifter and compare to the other sizes offered. Or you could just do what we did and buy the SRT8 billet shift knob from Chris. Its great.

Here is the link to new design to better match the dash. I am actually surprised because I asked if they could make one like this so it would blend in with the instrument cluster and be very subtle. I wasn't expecting them to necessarily do it. I already bought their first style and like it, but what I really wanted was this one so I gues I will order this too. I am tempted to try them over the wheel caps since they are supposed to be weatherproof and are slightly 3D.

I have been sitting here for 5 minutes debating whether to hit submit on this because I don't want to affect the sales of my Canadian friend. Everyone seems really happy with the ones he has done for everyone, so I am by no means saying to pick one over the other. I had requested this one be made awhile back and just got an email from them this weekend.
OurZoo 05-28-2007, 08:09 AM I ordered another silver and black one for the steering wheel from Squig, but I also ordered 2 of these to check these out.
squigmang 05-28-2007, 01:18 PM are these a perfect fit? because the ones before had a gap around them.
OurZoo 05-28-2007, 04:08 PM I can attest that yours are a perfect fit indeed.

Thanks! Glad to hear they fit good.
Im wondering if the eBay ones fit because they didnt used to.
