I was curious if you can post some pictures of it at night. Are they much yellower than stock halogens?

Thanks!

I think Mango has 3000k on his fogs. Do a search for his posts. He had pics on here.

I really like it as well. I just bought Silverstar Ultras for my fogs though.

Think I just wasted $50. That yellow / Blue combo is very cool and I am guessing will be really affective in the fog/bad weather.

For anyone's benefit - I tried very hard to convince myself there was a noticeable difference between the SSU's in my highs vs the stockers, but frankly they are a waste of money. If I buy the 3000K HID fogs, I will use my 9005 SS's in the highs, but otherwise I would not bother. I actually bought 2 sets of Silverstar Ultra 9005's - one for highs and one for fogs. Ended up returning ones for highs because they weren't worth it. I replaced one side and sat there looking at both lights and shaking my head. (maybe some brightness improvement, but nothing by way of colour) Good difference in fogs mostly due to higher wattage.

(no problem slipping the 9005 bulbs into the fog housing either - just a little wiggling)

The 3k fogs make a more noticable difference then even the 6k lowbeams! It's INCREDIBLE how much they improve visiblity. Just last night, I was in the truck with my friend and I shut off the fogs on a dark road. Both of us went "OH S*IT!" when we noticed how drastic the difference was. I have been running with fogs ON ever since I installed them, so I never had a chance to really appreciate it.

EW! That's a disgusting yellow in those pics.

It's a very high quality yellow light...I don't know how else to explain it.

For those on a budget, consider 9005 (high beam) bulbs in the low/high/fog beam enclosure. It requires a small amount of "plastic" surgery to the plastic electrical connectors of these bulbs, but the light output is every bit as good as my BMW 330i Xenon HID. Currently running 9005 high beam GE Nighthawks in the Jeep's low/high/fog light housing of my SRT8 with fantastic light output.

As I've already stated several times, they are 3,000k fogs.

3,000k fogs are H.I.D. It was a total conversion with ballasts, igniter boxes, etc. You can purchase the kits from www.xenondepot.com or my personal favorite, www.hid-sin.com which uses the highest quality McColloch products (German Made, not cheapo korean or japanese).
