It handles very well. Not quite true sports car handling, but it really does handle nicely. The jeep pulled .91 g's at one lap of america which is better than most sports cars that are out on the road today. Red SRT-8 06-03-2006, 05:15 PM IMO, the steering is precise and responsive. It ain't no Lotus but is carves 'em up pretty well! I was following a guy in some little sports car (I don't remember what it was) up a winding hill. I wasn't tailgating but I was pacing him. He thought I wanted to play so he started pushing it. I stayed with it for a moment or two until I could see he was starting to push the envelope on his car. It was rolling pretty hard in the turns. The Jeep wasn't even straining. In fact, my wife didn't even notice anything was happening. I slowed way down because I didn't want to push this guy in over his head and cause him to have a wreck. BTW, it pulls a 0.8g on wet pavement. That's a pretty exclusive club. | ||
