: Forgiatos have arrived
These are a 3 piece forged wheel. Same specs as the Davins (22 x 9.5 and 22 x 10.5).
I was too busy to go have them mounted, but they sent me a phone pic. Tomorrow I'll have them installed.

HoustonSRT-8 04-10-2007, 08:05 AM Nice, I was looking at some of their other wheels and the Concavo & Otto both in silver with black barrels look damn nice.
Is that concavo on the black 6 series not one of the best looking setups you've ever seen?!?!

Blown-WK 04-10-2007, 09:18 AM Those wheels are by far the cleanest, most elegant looking wheels out there. I cant wait to see a set of 22" Radurra's on a GCSRT8:D
HoustonSRT-8 04-10-2007, 09:21 AM I cant wait to see a set of 22" Radurra's on a GCSRT8:D
I hope you're kidding. :o
Blown-WK 04-10-2007, 09:32 AM I think they would be sweet. Have you ever seen a set anywhere? So maybe they arent the most practical wheels to have but they win hands down on wow factor!
OurZoo 04-10-2007, 09:34 AM Ugh, I think I just threw up in my mouth?

Yes, they win hands down......hands down on my toilet while I puke. They are disgusting and have zero style.
Yes, I've seen them at SEMA. They aren't an every day wheel. They're a show piece and an engineering marvel. They are mostly used to show brake and suspension setups at shows and on display vehicles. I dig them.

Well at least somebody agrees with me...lol. I didnt say I would ever buy them because thats not at all practical but just giving respect where its due. Thats some fantastic engineering that went into the design and construction of those wheels. I think ge2's wheels are totally awesome and will look killer on his jeep. I would definitely run a set like that myself.
Street WK 04-10-2007, 11:37 AM I like them... Did you guys see the video on youtube with the guys doing burnouts with them in his 350z?

PsychoSRT8 04-10-2007, 12:07 PM those are the nicest wheel i've seen for a while!!! r they gonna be 22's? what's the weight and how much? they look GREAT! can't wait to see them on.

Yes-- they are available in any color / finish combo you want.

1) to get them in any other color combo, your retailer of choice will simply place the order with your preferrences. I know my guy (Joel at CarNutz 425 641 7000) will totally hook any of you guys up with a good price on them, and take care of getting them shipped to you. Tell him Greg Erickson sent you.
2) My toyos are 265/35 and 295/30.

Have you considered getting a billet antenna? RM360 and I each sell some antennas that would look great on your ride!
1) I listen to TONS of AM radio, and will not settle for any less quality of AM reception.
2) I don't personally like the 6-8 inch look. They are very nice an clean units, to be sure.... but they remind me of a broken auto collapsing antenna that I had on a volvo a while back. They just don't look complete to me.
3) I need about a 14-16 inch black antenna, that recieves AM as good as stock.

I lived in the Bellevue/Redmond (WA) area for 30 years... the mountains & trees make radio reception very tough. When I moved to AZ 6 years ago I found out you almost didn't even need a car antenna... the Valley of the Sun is as flat as a mallard's instep. I had my RM360 ant installed by Randy his own bad self, as he lives in the same development. It get PERFECT AM reception.
BTW: Your new wheels look killer. If I ever get a 2nd set for mine, those will be the ones.
El Jefe 04-12-2007, 10:50 AM I dont think its been mentioned but go out and buy some silver high temp paint and put a coat around the outer ring and inner ring of your rotors. Make them match the color on the rims. Can you say P-I-M-P? haha
I knew I'd like them before I even saw them on the GC. They look unreal on there now! Congrats!
Thanks Dri :)
Yeah-- I needed to paint the rotors when I had the wheels off. I'll get around to it. What I really need is some black rotors :)
El Jefe 04-12-2007, 03:01 PM do they make black? I havent seen any
I saw some once, but I have no idea about them. For all I know they could have just been painted for show purposes.
Go~RillaWRX 04-12-2007, 11:25 PM oh my god. I want to make babies with your truck! Great photos. You need silver calipers. Once again great taste.

I think the next best solution is that jeep 6" shorty, but it cant get that great of reception.
hound 04-13-2007, 06:43 AM Any word on what the weight is of the wheels?
blu04srt4 04-13-2007, 07:19 AM How is the ride with those tires? Is it more harsh than stock?
I will find out the exact weight today. They are lighter than my davins, which were around 4-6 pounds lighter than the stockers, at each corner.
As for the tires.... sure, you feel the bumps. Anytime you cut the height of the sidewall, there is less wall to absord the road. That said, however.... the runflats aren't a super absorbant tire either. I don't notice the difference, but would always be happy to let anyone in the area take it for a spin to make their own mind up.
Go~RillaWRX 04-13-2007, 10:18 AM So is your Truck stock ride height or not?
SRT-8RAT 04-13-2007, 01:28 PM HOT HOT HOT!!!

nacnac 04-13-2007, 03:51 PM I've never read more butt kissing over a set of wheels before. I mean,

They look way better than the davins however.
split2112 04-13-2007, 06:42 PM I think they look really good.
However, I still am in love with the OG rims...maybe its cuz ive stared at my truck for too long and have gone loopy.
I'd like to see a 22" set of those rims (if those arent already 22s) on a black GCSRT8...thatd look clean

Sorry to hear the news. That is the worst. I have had three German Shepards and it always ended like that between 10-12 years old. I hope your kids are taking it OK.
nacnac 04-15-2007, 02:23 PM Greg, sorry to hear about your dog. I have two myself and I dread the day
I have to do something like that. A german shep and austalian cattle dog.
Now, I didn't say I hate your wheels, in fact I think they look WAY better
than your other wheels. All I'm saying is it seems odd to me that grown
men seem to worship you because of your new wheels. Worship might
not be the right word, but I think you see what I'm getting at. All this
fawning and praise over them seems a little contrived.
I dont want to come off as a hater because like I said, I like the wheels,
but they're just wheels. You know what I mean? Basically the reaction
from a lot of people seems over the top. That's all I'm trying to say.
squigmang 04-15-2007, 04:05 PM people tend to get excited over things like this since we love our rides so much, and to see a set look as nice as that is exciting, especially with the lack of aftermarket wheels that fit our application (usually only 3 piece).
dont be the skunk at the garden party nacnac...
I hear what your saying Nac.... even though it is a bit hypocritical. We post pics to show offf what we've done. Anyone who's ever posted a pic has done it for that reason. Not all may like the mod, but in this case a lot of folks did. So when you posted the pics of your commander on the SRT wheels, did you do that expecting not a single response? Or would you have just rather people told you they were ugly? No, I think you wanted (and got, by the way) the same response I got here.
Mango 04-15-2007, 05:04 PM I've been on web forums for almost 10 years...and I've NEVER witnessed the types of responses I've seen here and on the "other" site. It's almost as if a good portion of the people on these "car" sites are OVERLY emotional toward the posting. It cracks me up! http://forums.offtopic.com/images/smilies/wiggle.gif
OurZoo 04-15-2007, 06:58 PM Sorry to hear about the pup Greg. I had to put my cat of 16 years down several weeks back. Cried my ass off. I hate how fond I am of my zoo. We're huge on animals in my household. My three Labs were my first children before my little, baby girl. Keep the head up! And the wheels still ROCK!
Ronin 04-15-2007, 07:39 PM I don't think it would matter if there were a 100 wheels available for the Jeep SRT...
Those wheels are nice!
Thanks for the pics,

Dr.Steve 04-16-2007, 11:28 AM Sorry to hear about your dog Greg, never easy. . . remember him fondly always
Thanks very much.......
I actually did pretty well over the weekend, but coming into the office this morning, and him not coming in with me (he came to the office with me daily)-- boy it brought me to my knees for about 15 minutes.
I suppose its a whole separate thread, but since I did bring it up..... here is the thread I posted on another forum I belong to:
Some of you old timers may remember a thread back in 2002 where I talked about driving my dog over to Eastern Washington for a major reconstructive neck surgery. I posted many times from my hotel room over there, waiting for the results of the MRI to tell me if it was cancer, or an operable condition. It ended up being operable, and after a couple of weeks I brought Caesar home. This picture might jog memories.....
http://fordtruckworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/ge2/67732.jpg
Well, he's been battling bone cancer in his mouth for the last few months. I've had the tumor 'de-bulked' 3 times now. I just can't do it any more. He's laying in front of my office desk, as I type this right now. Breathing kinda of labored, and mucus dripping from his nose (the tumor has pretty much closed off his left nostril). Now he's looking around. He just looks sad. I'm doing ok right now-- been up and down all morning.
At 1:30 I'm meeting my wife and girls at home so the girls can say goodbye. They won't realize it for a few days, but they'll miss his presence in the house. Then at 2:30 my wife and I will take him in and put him to sleep.
I've had Caesar since he was 5 weeks old, and he turned 14 on March 14th. He's a great boy, and besides my wife, he's the only roommate I've ever had.
Some of his softer side, from over the years....

DRIHEAT 04-16-2007, 12:49 PM Losing a member of the family, either 2 or 4 legged is very sad. We miss Ace, our snow white English golden retriever. He was put down, with cancer, at age 11. That was in 1987. We never got another dog after that.
kramsay1234 04-16-2007, 01:46 PM I lost my pet almost a year ago when I was in Chicago launching some new business. He had been sick for weeks and the vet couldn't figure out why. I had been working from home so I could be with him and the whole time he wouldn't leave my side. When I had to go, I elected to put him up at the vet so he would be taken care of. A couple of days after I left, they called me to tell me he died. I bawled. I couldn't believe I wasn't there to say goodbye, and I felt like I just off and left him - even though it was the furthest from that.
Hardly more comforting, but is good to hear you were with him to the end.

Welcome aboard. I bought all new trim pieces, and had them painted. Them swapped them for the originals. The only original chrome pieces left are the cargo area side window belt moldings. Those are part of the window assembly, so I had them painted in place.
Prjct86Man 04-17-2007, 04:54 PM gotcha, sounds good, looks much cleaner that way.
