ok.. first off, just keep in mind this is just a thought.. its far from becoming reality.. My mind always wonders with vehicle idea's etc.. most of the time the thoughts just pass but this one has been on my mind for a month now..

To get straight to the point my idea would be this

Replace my jeep and bmw for the beast above

Basically the 2006 Z06's are creeping down to 40k.. my jeep is paid off and i only owe 12k on the car....seems like the numbers include some irony

on the financial side of it my monthly payment for my vehicles would be almost identical...id just have anther year added to it bc i have 4 years remaining on bmw... id go w a 5 year note on the z06....with the slight monthly increase in car payment i would save tht 2 fold w my insurance reduction

so my driveway wld be z06 n camry

omg, its almost like i feel the rig hears me talkn abt this...lol..i feel ashamed

or

maybe....i just sell bmw... call vortech...and call it a day...hmmmmm... now thats compromising :)

The Z06 is hard to argue against. It's an awesome performance car. Can you live with driving the Camry occasionally?

I think the Jee offers you the perfect balance between performance and practical usability. The Bimmer almost seems redundant if you have the Jeep. A great combo is the Jeep for DD and the Z06 for the 3rd 'fun' vehicle.

With the Jeep paid off, trade in the BMW for a Z06. Take a 60 month load to minimize the monthly payments on the Z06 and pay it off early when you can afford to do so.

I bought the Jeep with a similar plan in mind -- pay off the Jeep then get a 2-seat performance car or a collectible.

I think it's best to move this thread into General Discussion as it doesn't appear to be a done deal yet. That way it'll open it up for discussion. If and when you're ready you can always start a new F/S thread, but for the time being this doesn't really belong in F/S.

Get the Z06 and keep the Camry for your commute to work and back. Then go see Vette Doctors and spend some $$$$$....

I own a regular C6 (I know it's not a Z06) but I would never trade my Jeep for any C6 including the ZR1. The SRT8 is just awesome. It's fast, it stops well and it just gets more comments then corvettes. Plus, you can load all your stuff in the jeep. Plus, the roof does not come off the Z06 and the interior on the C6's is very dated and super cheap. That's why I would not trade my c6 for one. Need some kind of glass over the top no matter how much HP.

Sell the BMW and get the Vortech

Yea, it is tough to decide, but I couldn't see myself trading my jeep for much.. I love it, there isn't many out there, and its fast and fun to drive :D

If you want to look like everyone else out there..get the vette. It's fast but boring, and everyone has one. If you want to stay exclusive, and beat-up on said vette's, get rid of the bmw, and get a Vortech for your Jeep. Then you got the best of both worlds:)
