What does everyone do for work or living? I work for a family business that my father started 25 years ago. He manages a stainless steel shop. We sell 20' - 21' round stainless steel pipe. Different thickness and only 2 alloys..304 and 316. You might know some 304 on some exhaust systems. We also sell fittings and flanges. We dont sell to the public, we sell to the parts store. I guess we are the wholeseller. So what do you guys do?

Right now I am an outside service manager at a private golf course and have been there 4 years. I do everything from helping a member with there clubs to answering phones and selling stuff in the shop to doing junior lessons/camps. I am almost finished getting my bartenders licence and am on my way to be a "Professional Mixologist" lol. If that doesnt work out I might work for my dad in his Home Improvement business or check out UPS or the Post Office.

RN. I have worked just about every specialty and currently working for a major home health corporation as the NorCal regional administrator for the Behavioral Health Program.

If any of you are looking to switch gears r/t these changing times and think you have the capacity for nursing (believe it or not it very easy to get thru school without having to deal with too much blood and guts), DO IT! My wife and I (3yr and 5yr RNs) have been travel nursing for two years and have pretty much had the pick of the country for work. We could literally throw a dart and have a job within 50 miles. There is a nationwide shortage of nurses and males are in even higher demand. There are all kinds of opportunities that dont even involve 'nursing'. I started with a BA in Psychology and tried everything from education to general contractor/construction. My Mom was an RN and I knew some things about it as a profession. We decided to bite the bullet and literally sacrifice EVERYTHING so we could get our RN degrees. We are now Psychiatric RNs.

If you have a degree you can get a BS in 18 mos or an Associates in a little less than 2 yrs. Doesnt matter which one you get. Come out and get a yrs experience and you are set. The working world will literally be your oyster. I honestly feel it the best educational and financial investment you can make.

Endodontics, from the Greek endo (inside) and odons (tooth), is one of the nine specialties of dentistry recognized by the American Dental Association, and deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth. If the pulp (containing nerves, arterioles and venules as well as lymphatic tissue and fibrous tissue) has become diseased or injured, endodontic treatment is required to save the tooth

We also get into a lot of before/after photography for product launches and claim substantiation, and all the girls in my life get all kinds of crazy free product. I'm in sales so I run trade shows all over the US and Asia, and we're just starting to expand into European testing now. I spend a lot of time on the road without the jeep.

I'm an active duty Marine, and have been doing it for 11 1/2 years now. So yeah, I'm a lifer! (meaning I'm retiring out of here). Been to Iraq a few times and am pretty sure Afghan is in the near future. The Corps says it was going to give me a break and send me to Texarkana, Texas and train Reservist, but man, this is no break! But I will be done with my tour here come later this year, and hopefully be getting back to the west coast.

And for the wife, she's a full time LVN student. She'll be transferring to the RN program once we get relocated. So needless to say, I joke with her and tell her she's my investment, because once I retire, she'll be bringing home the bacon. lol. I know you RNs can make $35-$40 an hour!!! (location dependent, of course)

Nice. I think we all need one of those... I need this economy to stop dragging its feet so I can start making some $.

I think I might go with red to keep it simple and match the letters on the plastic head covers. That or black. Seems to be the easy route to me.

Where in Hawai'i? I was stationed at Kaneohe Bay for a couple months back in '99 and also did field ops up in the Pohakuloa Training Area on the "big island". Got up there by CH-53. Pretty fun ride. Lol.

Now I understand why you got arrested, that's borderline insane, for the cop he must have thought you were freaking crazy or something.
I think at some point they can't give you a break, especially at those kind of speeds.
On the other hand, it's like a motorcycle, it's easy to get fast quickly.

I sleep fine. It does take a unique individual to do this job, just like some of the military guys. The worst part of my job is the death notification.

Yes I'm the Cop that may as well have an egineering degree. I use tons of math to find out vehicle speed before collision, speed loss from skid, speed from the amount of crush a vehicle incurs. We do forensic mapping of accident and murder scenes with a Leica Total Station and TDS and then create 3D cad simulations from the mapping information and put the vehicles back on the road way in their pre-impact positions and animate them to show jurys how the collision happened.
