Hey all! I purchased the CTS-V Akebono pads for my truck. I just received rear pads from UPS. Are the rear pads supposed to be smaller than the fronts? I went with Brembo fronts and Akebono rears to go with my R1 Concepts rotors. Thanks in advance. :confused:

yes, front and back are not the same size. pretty sure its the rears that are smaller.

Rears are smaller... in all vehicles. All the stopping power/work comes from the front, hence larger contact area.
