Here (http://www.custombilletstore.com/product_p/3018.htm), get the braided lines, they'll last forever, the basic rubber hoses they use will go bad from the inside out, many here and in the CM forums testified to that result.

I ran the regular lines for like 2 days and changed to the braided ones. They look better and feel better. Also I bought the brass fittings to cuz it comes with the plastic ones, not a neccesity just made me feel better

BT is thinking of bringing back their clear top, clear bottom and full clear units. Might want to ask what's happening about that.

I'm going to order one tomorrow. Not sure which bracket I should go with however. I ordered a Volant CAI today, so whatever works best with that.

Any suggestions?

If you're ordering now, don't plan on installing any time soon. I've been waiting two weeks for my order.

I never knew a can and two steel braided lines were that hard to keep in stock.

Was that direct from Billet? Haven't checked the other dealers yet, but guess I should. Still not sure about the brackets though...

Thanks for the heads up!

The standard bracket that comes with the Jeep can is what I run and would recommend.

Thanks Dan! Looks simple and clean. Now it appears I've got to find one in stock somewhere. Good news is I just got confirmation my Predator shipped, so things are coming together.

You could check with Billet Tech and see what colors (if any) they have in stock and ready to ship.

It is worth the wait though and they don't charge you until it ships. Great people to deal with over there.

I like that, but wouldn't the blue turbo thingy be in the way on mine?

Blue turbo thingy? You mean Blow Off Valve?:D

BT threw a post up about a week ago maybe saying they were SLAMMED b/c of a vendor of theirs closing or had a fire or something. They asked people to bare with them. They're trying to fill the orders as fast as they can. They weren't expecting such a large volume of sales from their big sale they had.

I think I like the shorter hoses better. No turbo to deal with on mine. Just needs to clear the Volant plumbing. Seems it would be easy to relocate down the road if the need ever arose.

Thanks guys!

The Jeep only has one bracket. With the help of some members here it will work with all CAI kits...

I put up a post explaining our situation,I also sent out 2500 emails explaining
the situation,I apologize oif you missed the email. But I have a feeling it went to your spam.I assure you we are working as fast as we can.If you ordered color it states directly on your reciept that color may have a lead time up to 20 days. Thanks for your patience.:)

Hmmm... Well I'll assume the last comment means it's as simple as the pictures posted above in this thread. Either way the dealer is installing both, so they'll have to deal with any issues...

Just placed my order. Satin finish with the free hoses.

Thanks!

Take off one hose, let it dry overnight and see in the morning if the inside looks smooth or rough, if it's rough, it's going bad from the inside out, let us know.

Hey guys, I have an '07, is it ok to just install the catch can now, or do I need to clean out the intake as well to get the benefit? Thanks.

Better late than never, put the catch can on now, and if the intake is nasty, clean it if it's not too much of a hassle to take out the intake manifold.
