First off, I want to thank everybody for their advice, and willingness to give it.
..anyway....here is the run down.
put the 170* stat in last night, CEL on.....after I burped it, and reset computer
it hasn't come back on.
front air scoop mod done.
brake duct/scoop mod done.
fan switch done.
Pink fuse pulled out at track.
K&N drop in never arrived.
Truck showed 759 miles when I got to the track, sat for 40 minutes and drove
up into the staging lanes.
no burn out, no test launch, no brake torquing, nothing. flat punched it on last yellow.
1.79 60 ft
83.86 1/2 track mph
12.85 1/4
104.54 mph
I thought as I was getting my ticket, just let it be a 13.10.
I was amazed and so was everybody else.
2nd pass......1 hour & 20minutes later.
same technique....
1.77 60 ft
84.06 mph 1/8th
12.88 @only 101.86 mph.
About 80ft before the finish (ET) line, the truck shut off...for like a second
and came back on..........
I feel that was a 12.78-12.80 pass, because my 60 was better, the half track
mph was better, and 1000ft was 2 hundreths better? (freaky)
I was still happy, but didn't want to stick around for another 4 hours for
our first elimination session. You know, East Sunday, 2 kids, wife etc.
Can't wait to put NGK ix6s in it (16 of them) and spray it with a 75 shot.
