i had the srt8 jeep today going down 35 today from oklahoma city to riverbend casino. The highway had some empty spots so did some street racing mostly from 45 - 55 rolls up to 120 against some kinda mustang with exhaust , rear spoiler. The mustang driver just could not believe that he could not pull on me and at times i pulled on him. When i race people in the viper it's kinda boring cos i am supposed to win but it is so much fun seeing the shock on peoples faces when they can't take the srt8 jeep. The look of the jeep is just so intimidating and the note of the exhaust(corsa/dub cai} is attention getting. In the end he slowed down , rolled down the window just shaking his head and we acknowledged each other with thumbs up. Once u learn how to handle the power of the srt8 it handles just as well as the x5 having driven both. I would hate to thing how it would handle if i exchanged out the crappy run flats. Anyway a safe day was had by all. Had a lucky night playing poker.

the hangdling is different... the german suv feel tighter, however, the jeep does handle better.

and FYI i did replace those shi*ty runs with some 265's in front and 295's in the rear on my 22's ... handles great

Viper?? Only at the very beginning, from a dig, but then the viper is going to destroy you. BTW, I know because I have both an SRT8 GC and a Viper SRT10.

Ooops, I think I misread that one. You are not saying that you beat vipers in the SRT8, but that when you drive a viper, the expectation of others is that you are fast, not so with the GC. Now I get it.
