I installed these in june of 09' and i've been meaning to post up some pictures and comments.
-Bendix brake pads (supposed manufacturer of jurid pads(oem)
Front MKD1149
Rear MKD592A
-Ate Type 200 dot 4 brake fluid
-R1 rotors
-CRC disc brake quiet aerosol can
-CRC synthetic brake and caliper grease
First step I masked and sprayed the back of the pad and the underside of the shim with the disc brake quiet. I did 2 layers and allowed each to dry before spraying. Also, I applied some grease to the shim where it contacts the piston. I think this combination is important to insure no squeaking. It's been 6 months squeak free braking.
I also bled the whole system with new fluid. The install of rotors and pads are pretty straight forward.
I've tried many combinations from stoptech slotted rotors with various pads, centric posi, ebc. Obviously oem pads top it all but the price isnt' so attractive. I honestly think the bendix pads yield similar results far better than the other pads i've tried.
My jeep is currently at 92k miles.
I choose the r1 rotors as most of us because of the "bling" factor:D Pricewise it really isn't bad.
On to the pics.
