New to the site. Just picked up a 2010 SRT8 on Tuesday. Did my first 0-60 test and came up with 4.3!!!! Could this be correct? Data says 4.7. Would welcome any comments.

Nice break in period LB! LOL...
Very tough to resist!
I got 4.4 0 - 60 with my Dad and I, so I easily expect to see 4.3.
From what I have heard though, the EVIC is about .2 to .3 off.
Don't know how that is tested or if it is confirmed.
I really don't care, cause seein 4.3 come up on the 0-60 and **flash** at you a couple of times, makes you feel like you just won something! It's great!

Congrats on the new WHIP!

Damn right it could be correct. Lol. Welcome aboard. If you have the right conditions, those numbers are normal. What was the weather like when you did it?

The EVIC is extremely accurate. It was within a .1 second at the track and within 1 mph as well.I think it's great although I'm too scared to even do a 0-60 run around here since I don't wanna get popped.

Welcome from Long Island -- you'll see some interesting numbers with the cold weather if your tires hook up.
BTW, I was in NJ today and have I ever mentioned I HATE jug handles?

Sounds like it could be right to me. I dont use teh performanc egauges too much but when I have they usually match my actual 1/4 time dead on and the mph is usually a little off towards the high side.

I ran a 4.25s 0-60s at an elevation of 2200' testing out the new Borla. I was on Blizzak's on 18" 255's, and it was one degree above freezing so I slipped a LOT on the launch due to slush/ice and road gravel.

My summer best was 4.19.

I CAN'T WAIT for spring. Enjoy the new ride man - it'll keep surprising you!

It's only as accurate as the speedometer, mine read 2-3% fast, as in shorter times. Adjusting calibration with a tuner will get you closer to real time.
