Hi guys my name is john and I live in williamsburg ,Va.I just had installed catless kooks headers and I have a dashhawk.I know I am going to throw some codes every 100 miles or so but I keep throwing Two different codes
every 30-40 miles.

The first one is for each of the cats.(witch is normal)

The second one is slow responce with 02 sensor.

Is this normal

The header/secondary 02 related MIL/CELs do absolutely nothing to performance, tuning, or your motor. They are simply an inconvenience.

Mine throws PO420 & PO430 "Inefficient catalytics"...thats it.

PO153 may indicate the heated sensor is not coming up fast enough. We have heated or self heating 02 sensors that bring it up to temp for quicker warm ups. You may have a bad 02........ or did you happen to install the 02 sensor bung spacer?? If so that could be the problem.

Will this hurt anything or just throw a light??

From what I have seen it may cause some slight fuel/air adjustment......but remember the ECU will never let it run much outside of federal emission standards.

If anything when we install headers....cams...heads.....the ecu will always take the engine management back to baseline......so no you wont melt a piston or burn a valve.

If nothing else see if you have a spacer in the 02 sensor bung. Check the 02 sensor.....you might have a bad heater on one of them.

12.5...Good Luck, that 12.5 that Inferno posted was a shot in the dark in a perfect situation!!! With headers if you run a 13.0 - 13.5 stock just take 2 tenths off of that and thats where you should end up...sorry for the buzzkill but reality is here!!! Good Luck nonethe less though...keep us posted!!!

There have been four or five different Jeeps running 12.7-12.8 either bone stock, or with just a thermostat.
