I did a lot of research on this and called NHRA,SUNOCO AND VP to get there input. The only gas that is legal is CARB CERTIFIED ONLY. There are 3 gases that are legal over 94 octain that are not considered a MOD. Anything else is a MOD. So when listing MODS, please list race gas and thats anything (NON CARB LEGAL)
VP -100 (STREET BLAZE) 100 OCTAIN. At the pumps in CA.
SUNOCO - 260 GOLD 97 OCTAIN (FOR CALIFORNIA)
SUNOCO - 260 GT 100 OCTAIN. At the pumps in CA.
And NO you cant mix a CARB LEGAL WITH A NON CARB LEGAL GAS TO GET 100 OCTAIN AND BE LEGAL.
EXSAMPLE
VP 109 + 91 = 100.
SUNOCO 260GT PLUS 104 + 91 = 97.5.
SUNOCO 260GT PLUS 104 + 94 = 99.

I think vp 109 or sunoco 260gt plus (104 OCTAIN) would help you out when you run NOX OR WITH OUT NOX. In CA vp 109 is 75 buxs for 5 gal and sunoco 260 gt plus id 50 for 5 gal.

wow I thought it was just illegal to run leaded. I guess it makes sense since there is a VP gas station here that sells 100 octane street blaze they would probably have higher if they could. I dont have the need to run it in my Jeep though not to mention its lke 8.50 a gallon I think right now

Theres a 76 station in AGORIA CA and they says its vp 100 ( but on the pump its just says 100) and sells it at the pump for 6.79. I get SUNOCO 100 in SIMI VALLEY at the pump for 7.49. If its vp 100 i may try it for the price next time i go racing.

I know its VP for sure cuz the it says VP all over the gas station. It may be a little cheaper than 8.50 I havent been down that street in like 5 months so
