You need to PM Beast2 or 392STU-- they own the Hemi Shop in Austin,Tx. & work on Hemi's daily. Maybe PM FastMatt(Dynamic Racing). I know Scott(Beast2) & Stu has XFI 273 experience & most likely FastMatt has as well!!

I'm sure they would share their opinions!!!!

Hi 3336jmh,

I have the 273 Cam with the DR heads from Matt. It is a great combination!!! The truck is an animal. Obviously not as torquey down low as a 268 combo but we have traction issues anyway (the dual one wheel peel!!).

I have my idle speed set at 800 and it sounds freakin mean.
Midrange and top-end pull is awesome fun. Just wish we could find a way to get these things to shift higher because this thing is pulling hard - real hard when it shifts.
Bottomline, the combo is great! Matt has been nothing but top notch to deal with.
