Hi, i was wondering does anyone have the oem speaker sizes for all the door / dash speakers??
I have a customer with an srt8 who would like to upgrade all the speakers, I am thinking of getting him into the eclipse integrated series,
also does anyone know the power output of the oem amp I cant find any specs on it, I know its not that great but should it nbe enough to run the eclipse speakers .. thanks,

3.5 for the dash, 6x9 for the front doors, 6.5 for the rear doors.
The boston sight claims 276 watts at the amplifier but how that is divided out, I do not know. They are using a full range class D amplifier which tend to be very efficient (70-90%) and also tend to run close to their "rated" power. All told, I'd suspect that you approximately 30-50 wpc channel "actual" but how that is split, I couldn't tell you.

I replaced all of my speakers and use the factory amp. No problem with power - plays plenty loud with no distortion.
I am very satisfied with this setup, would recommend it to anyone, just replace the speakers and see if you are happy with it. You can always upgrade further if you think you need it and you will have already done the speakers.

Hey MNBob - Do you still have your factory speakers laying around?

Yes, they are upstairs in the garage.
I have pictures comparing old speakers to new in the links supplied in this link (see post #13):

I was wondering if you could check the impedance with a multimeter for me on your factory speakers... if it's not too much to ask.

Luan, I haven't used my multimeter in a while and it does not seem to work. I put in a new battery. I'll have to pick up another one.
I have heard and read that the factory speakers are 2 ohm. When I installed the new speakers I noticed that I had to go higher into the volume for the same sound level. It still has enough to play plenty loud for me, though.

If that is the case, I was looking at replacing them, and the 2007 line of Infinity Speakers are 2.65 Ohm, which is GREAT for an aftermarket speaker. They will work nicely with the factory amp untill I get my 4-Channel in thier...
