Just when you think you have a lil stash pile full of money and think everything is gonna be good to go for a while something always happens. Is this just me or is it just bad luck or both of them? ha ill try to keep this short n sweet b.c is all blah blah blah i just need to vent.

Ive been trying to wait to mod the jeep but its been tempting. So i was sittin at home the night b4 last and searching for parts had the predator, borla, bwoody 4inch, 180 thermo all set up and ready to order. Got in my truck My DD its a dakota r/t 5.9L and was on my way to work yesterday am and the tranny started slipping. So i made it to work and checked the fluid it was fine was on my way home and tranny stops enguaging completly. pull over call tow truck get the truck home and thats that all the parts i was gonna order i now have to take the money and put a trans in the DD i dont want to keep Dailying the jeep for the fact of the miles and wear n tear. So i gotta get this fixed asap.

So that happens to the truck and now im due for a 30k service on the Jeep as im at 36xxx now all this all at once and right around X-mas time this blows!! Thanks for letting me vent fellas.

Yeah man this seems to happen to me alot as well or someone needs me to loan them money. Keep your head up man. Soon enough you will be able to mod up the Jeep.

Just remember it could aways be worse, be thankful for the GREAT things you have. these a lot of people that don't have two cars and the one they do have breaks down, they don't have the money to get it fixed.

True that could be way worse and yeah it will come one day knuckles. just sucks i gotta drop all this money out at once. But **** happens i guess. As long as i work everyday i guess one day ill be able to do some of the thing i want until then just rollin with it.

dooode, just get rid of that DD and mod the Jeep....the Jeep still makes a good DD IMHO.

Yeah thats the truth because then i would be DDin the jeep with the new mods. and i dont wanna do that my commute to work is like 35 or so miles and the jeep eats a 1/4 tank of gas there n back And you always need a truck. I would love to DD the jeep but just couldnt see myself rackin all those miles up i could care less about the money on gas just worry more about the miles and the wear n tear.

Hang in there bro things could be worse. Get the tranny fixed in your dd and start saving for your mods again. Remember it's Christmas time, keep your head up and have a great day.

Truthfully, i know you don't wanna DD the Jeep but shoot, why'd you buy it? Use the thing, you only live once, beat on it and enjoy it. I hate commuting already so at least a nice JEep SRT8 gets me there and back enjoyably. Figure it will last a few hundred thousand with proper maintenance. Then you can mod the Jeep, use it, enjoy it, and beat on the other truck when the weather is really bad or w/e it may be. Id never throw $ at my beater when I have a nice SRT8 sittin' in my driveway lol. Thats just my .02, everyone is different, has a different philosophy, thoughts, goals, wants and w/e. Do what you wanna do, I say toss the 5.9, hook the 6.1 up, care for her, but beat on her and she will love you back ;) Happy endings too??? hehe All in all the Jeep isn't a show car, it can be but I say its the ultimate daily driver, or get two and then you can DD one and hide the other away lol.
