I just can't wait to take off the runflats for some better tires.... I'd settle for 40lbs of security and Z rated rubber that will ride and perform 100% better. All season M&S tires are not the prime choice for a performance vehicle... and the rigid sidewalls of the EMTs are not worth it..

It could be a factory option... opt 1 you get runflats, opt 2 you get a spare and good Z rated rubber.

Why not just strap a spare down in the cargo area if you're really worried about it? I'm not a huge fan of runflats, but I see no reason not to switch away from runflats and just have either a spare with you or a can of fix-a-flat in the vehicle.

I understand why they make runflats standard fare though, not only is it a selling point to a lot of people, but a huge number of people don't know how to change a flat tire, and a lot of people just flat out are too stupid to switch from a bad tire.
