: Local dealer has 4 SRT8 Jeeps
ernest 12-21-2009, 05:09 PM I called Jim Jr at Darcars Silver Spring Md, they have a red and blue loaded SRT. He also has 2 Black SRT but they are being used by the owner as demo's. He gave me a great price. If you are looking, I'm sure he will give you a deal like mine. The Blue one is still on the train. It should be delivered the 28th to the dealer.

secretasianman 12-21-2009, 08:19 PM Darcars sells alot of vehicles but their prices are not always the best. Unfortunately they are on of the few Jeep dealers left in the area. What kind of deal did you get, if you don't mind telling?
BOYCHIKS 12-21-2009, 08:25 PM +1, what kind of deal did he offer? I may have someone interested in the blue one ;) Writing down his info now!
ernest 12-22-2009, 07:13 AM I was told 44800 + T&T for the blue or red one. This was using the 0%. I just talked to Jim yesterday. I'm sure he would offer the same price to anyone. I have an affiliate pin# so it is hard to know how much that helped.
Raist103 12-22-2009, 10:26 AM I looked at my first jeep from them, those jerk offs left me a phone message with a offer of 22,500 for the steel blue one i was talking to them about late at night. the next morning i take off of work and drive down "3hrs one way" to buy it and he tells me that was just a way to get me to haggle up from there. he wanted 28,500 and would not go down. the the floor manager listened to the call the salesman left me and said the salesman did his job and got me down here.

holy $hit, that is crap!
I'd report that to chrysler, that is like a bait and switch tactic.
Last time I did negotiating over the phone, I had the guy email me a quote so I had it in writing, I suppose he could've still changed his story when I arrived though.
ernest 12-23-2009, 05:00 PM WHAT - The 22500 for an SRT should have been your first clue. I have to call BS , As we all know there isnt a chance to get a new SRT for 22. Plus no dealer has a customer haggle up.

never said it was new and i have "or had, would have to look" the print outs from the dealer. one was a 06 black and one was a 07 blue. floor managers name was jason. i paid 24 for mine and looked at a couple from 19-22k. so call bs all you want. oh and search the bbb i filed a complaint.
ernest 12-23-2009, 08:09 PM You must be talking about a different dealer. Darcars Jeep in Silver Spring MD has been managed by Jim Sr and Jim Jr since about this time in 2008.
Also what Dealer would tell you 22 and hope to have you talk them up. Sorry you feel you were treated bad by the dealer. I have bought 2 jeeps from them and after calling every dealer in the area they were the lowest price.
BOYCHIKS 12-23-2009, 10:29 PM Get back with him, here was the price i was told:
***M.S.R.P. $49,520.00
***Darcars Internet Price $41,081.00

That sounds like a good price. The Blue one is sold. They have red, silver and black left.
SRTfan 12-24-2009, 11:52 AM That must be with the 4k rebate. I would guess 45k with the 0% finance option.
ernest 12-24-2009, 12:46 PM Correct!!!
WA 2 FST 12-25-2009, 08:03 PM That sounds like a good price. The Blue one is sold. They have red, silver and black left.
Wow... that's a ridiculously good price. I wish they were closer. I am seriously considering trading my '05 Ram SRT-10 and picking up one of these awesome GCSRT8's. But Dallas dealers are absurdly proud of their inventories...which are extremely limited right now, so I guess I can understand why.
Crookster777 12-25-2009, 08:04 PM ^Shipping a vehicle is inexpensive. :)
WA 2 FST 12-25-2009, 08:34 PM Yes sir, I agree. However, in this case I have a trade, not to mention by the time I fly out and back (I will not sign off on a car sight-unseen), the savings is significantly reduced.
