Hey,
The dealer is doing prep tomorrow and maybe some on Monday, but I remember reading here that there are some settings that they can change that normally they dont.
I know the mirrors tilt for reverse is one...
Any others?

That's something the dealer can change?
Is that something I could change or does it have to be in "starscan" mode?
I use remote start in the summer to put the AC on, and don't really need any seat heater getting me any hotter.:redblob:

Peter,
It's the law..You have to have front and rear plates. That's not the case in NY?

You have to have a front plate here in NY, but I dont. :D
I place the front plate under the rear floormat and if I should get pulled over, I will show it to the cop and hope to be let off of the ticket. If not, eh it's only 60 bucks for the ticket.

Yes, its the law, doesnt mean the dealer has to install it. There are other options than drilling into the front bumper. My dealer did not. Same for Joe. Won't hurt to ask.

Do you speed? That is breaking the law too:eek:
I also keep my front plate under my backseat with the bracket in the garage. I have had my WS6 for over 10 yrs with no front plate and never received a ticket. I have been pulled over too and still no ticket for front plate.

Is this easy for the dealer to do? I am thinking about asking them to do this now and then in the spring when I get my oil changed again, have them change it back for the summer.
Do you think the dealer will do this for me as a courtesy each season or will they charge me some labor?

California has a front plate law I've been ignoring for 35 years... saved my ass one time going through a camera loaded intersection - do the math.

something i would ask the dealer to do would be a full alignment. might be good to see how bad it is right out of the box...
