I'm going to get a catch can at BT's big sale. Before i pull the trigger, a couple of questions:

1. Anyone have the clear can? How's it holding up? is it worth it or does it discolor and just stay icky?

2. I'd rather not spend the money for the braided lines if not necessary from a functional perspective. Are any of you having issues with your standard BT hoses?

dont get the clear gets dirty after awhile and the catch can dont have to empty it until like 3 weeks but does a great job catching oil u dont need n the hoses u dont need i bought the steel braided steel hose at a local auto store heres a pic

So . . .
1) I have a clear catch can, it seem OK so far. Haven't had an issue cleaning it.
2) No issues with the supplied hoses.

Having said that, I've ordered the braided hoses (black) as I think it will make the engine 'look' better and from what I understand, the clear bottom is no longer available.

Thanks guys. I'll just order the regular can and stick with the free hoses for now. If need be, I'll get some braided ones at a local store. :) 18 minutes until the sale.

Since I bought my catch can many moons ago, don't know if they still supply the same type std. hoses, but mine started weeping after awhile. Replaced with SS braided hoses.

Once upon a time we offered 2 types of hoses,A heater hose and a PCV hose.SOunds like you ended up with the heater hose.I know longer even offer the heater hose as an option.

Im sure anyone that has purchased a can from me within the last 4 months or so has had zero issues with weeping.Thanks

How much for just a set of hoses? I have a catch can off my 5.7L Hemi Charger.... will it work on my 5.7L Jeep? where can I mount it?

You will need a z-bracket and suggest you get the braided hoses too$
