I installed the 4128/180 deg. from Autozone this evening and nothing happened. The temp actually went up a few degrees. I drove it around for about 8 miles all city driving, but there was still no drop in temp.

Any idea as to what I did wrong?? Or does it take time for the mod to take effect.

Mine took about 3 times from starting and stopping the engine around town . It did go up at first.......from what I've gathered it is the air in the sytem that is causing this and it should work it's way out.

Just air in the system. Mine did the same thing, scared the crap out of me. I let it sit for 2 hours then unscrewed the rad cap but didn't take it all the way off and the system burped.

You have air in the system. It will eventually bleed out!!. For faster results remove radiator cap(do this on a cold system) bring upto operating temp(stat will open & you will see fluid start to move in the radiator) fill directly into radiator til full, replace cap promptly and overfill the reservoir past full just a little. Recheck reservoir after a drive cycle or two and fill to full. All should be good!!
