Anyone know where the actual sensor for the outside temperature is located?
My outside temperature is stuck on 47 degrees
I figure because the EVAC is working in all other repects it must be the temperature sensor

My 07 has the same problem. It only seems to change when I drive on the freeway for more than a few minutes. Around town it stays at it was when I start it in the morning@47/48 degrees

To get back on topic, I had this same problem in my 05 Magnum RT. And from what people told me was that it was that the temp. will stay at a certain number for a bit until the car has been driven enough to gather a average temp. As the temp gauge is not in direct sunlight for instant readings. Im not sure if this related to GCSRT8 but it would my edumacted *wink* guess.

OK I tried to find the actual sensor last night after work. I looked on WK Jeeps etc and cannot find the actual sensor. I think however its the little black cone shaped device just front of the radiator behind the right grill. Can anyone confirm this?
All I know is that is was 75 yesterday and my reading said 47. Its making me feel cold so I turned it off.:D
It has been working well up to yesterday.

Ink - that is a typical spot for an ambient temp sensor, but think your best best is to call a dealer parts dept. and they will tell you for sure since they have diagrams on the computer.

actually my car's at the dealership for a couple of reasons (that being one of them) i noticed that my tire pressure is not correct also and my temp only changes a couple of times a day. when it's 70 degrees outside mine shows 47 or so. dealer is ordering a new modul for me (my remote start stoped working also)

Hey guys,
Thereīs a TSB for this problem, (temp gage). Find it at www.wkjeeps.com
Itīs an easy fix at the dealer.
Thereīs also a TSB for the trans issue. Also available at the above web site.
