I have an 07 SRT8 and the rear park assist audio has stopped working. Everything else works on it. You can see the lights come on and there are no error codes??? Any ideas guys?

can someone tell me where the audio from the rear park assist comes from? Since mine isn't working I have no idea where it came from. I don't think it comes out of the thing in the headliner. I don't think it came from the speakers either. Any help would be great.

Just went out and checked and mine comes from the backup sensor LED display area. (above the cargo area) no obvoius spaeker, but it is definitely coming from that. Make sure your backup sensor mute is not on.

where is the back up sensor mute? Thanks for checking! I took the head liner down and there is no speaker up there so I'm guessing it is coming from the plastic thing in the head liner?

Below your climate control, button has "P off" if amber light is on then you will NOT have the beep. and yes sounds like from inside the black plasic light housing for the backup sensor lights.

hmmm, yeah the P is on. The sensors light up when close to something but no audio. I guess the sensor thing in the head liner has gone bad as far as the audio goes. Now the question is where do I get one??? I plugged the part number in on google and nothing but Mercedes benz german stuff comes up.
