I am more and more seriously considering going aftermarket audio (without piggybacking the amplifier) with my jeep which means potentially getting rid of the oem nav unit to help cover the costs.

What are these things worth (approximately) on the used market?

Im not sure what they will be worth,you might want to hold on to it for resale,take your aftermarket components back out if you sell.I feel the same way about the nav way out dated for the year,I wouldl like to put a nice touch screen myself maybe in the future.

I bought one for my '05 Magnum on eBay for $750. They're regularly up there anywhere from $700-$1000, just make sure when you sell it to say the antenna and disc (and the version, if you know it) are included and are in the item description. One out of a Jeep should fit other Jeeps in addition to the LX platform (Magnum/Charger/300C) so you'd have a good potential sales audience. Hope this helps...
