This is just a feeler to see if there is any interest in a cheap quick fix to the covering of the "Jeep" on the shift knob and steering wheel. I make vinyl decals and was wondering if anyone one would be interested in something like this...

Just peel and stick it on over the "Jeep" for those who would rather the SRT8 logo...
I have not made any yet, i just got the idea. and i probably wont be able to make any for at least a week or 2 because im bogged bigtime with presentations and final exams coming up...
just throwing the idea out there. please respond with any interest

also the colors could be changed to whatever you want. the background or SRT8 could be carbon fiber look as well. mabye silver background with CF SRT8 might look good as well ??

Pics installed might be needed first. The better the quality the more folks would be willing to pay. High quality might fetch 15. Low quality might fetch 0.

They will be made out of very high quality vinyl (6 year outdoor)... I will try to get some made up and put them on my truck and take some pics. may be as long as 2 weeks though. sorry for the delay

try to use the carbon look that is on the steering wheel wrap. Since this will be vinyl, want to make sure no one can tell it is not factory.

I am hoping after this fix, Chris will make a billet emblem for inside the steering wheel to go with his shifters.

I will try but the selections are fairly limited. It will be a dark CF not a silver looking one. I believe it will look good. When im able to spend some time on it ill make up a few different ones that people can choose from.

I'm interested in one for the steering wheel.

I like the monochrome color look, with Carbon Fiber.

I'd be on board for sure. Especially if you could make them match the OEM "SRT8" logo and colors. But if not you design in your post works too.

:D I will take one of each...one for the shift knob and one for the steering wheel center. Please let me know when they become available. I would prefer a matching color/pattern to be complementary to the Red Rock Crystal exterior and slate gray interior. Thanks for doing this! Barrie34 :D

i will try to see what colors of grey i can get my hands on. if i can find a match i will make some to match the grey interior but if i cant get a direct match i dont think it will look very good. I can make some with the srt8 logo in color if you guys like. however the machine i have, each color will be a different layer, im not sure if this will look as good as just the silver on CF (for example) And im almost positive i wont be able to find a vinyl that will match the metallic red rock but i will sure see what is available.
This being said i will make up a number of different prototype color schemes and designs and let you guys pick what ones you want.

What's up with this?

I'd take the stering wheel mod. I know there are about 25 of us that recently modded the shift knob (billet), so I'd be out on that one.
And I agree, I'd like color on the stering wheel logo.
Maybe you could do a package deal for the guys that want both, as well as pricing the seperately for the rest....
