Long story short, my truck has been laid up now for 7 days getting the vortech installed cause a tech was out with a broken thumb at the shop, now they start it up today, and here is the issue:

Jason, its a code P0129 baro sensor low. The code sets as soon as the engine starts. With the factory map sensor connected it does not set the code running in the shop. The data stream looks normal at idle with the stock Map sensor connected. When I reconnect the Vortech sensor the code again sets as soon as the engine starts. It seems that the tune may not have been altered for the new map sensor value.

Here is some data that may be helpful:

We will wait to hear from your tuner. If he can send us the tune we can load it to the Predator and the to the Jeep!



So since it runs fine with the stock MAP we know that it is not wiring or anything on the install, and since it's proportionally off we think that the MAP calibration for air density was not done, or it was forgotten in the tune all together.

I need a tuner I can send the file to, or you can get it here and check it out. My list of mods are in my signature.

Here is the KICKER!! I finally have a meeting tomorrow with someone who has flown into town and if I don't have this car I am going to lose a huge deal and be totally screwed if I don't have this back by 1230 pm pst tomorrow.


Anyone that can help, please for the love of all that is humanly possible, can someone help me. If you are a tuner, for the one tweak I'll paypal you $80 np, I'm just nervous that Dave K at B&G is not going to get it done, cause I can never get a hold of him on the phone.

Vortech, 3.12" inch pulley with Bwoody UD pulley left in. SRT4 Stage 2 injectors, high end fuel pump, and msd digital boost a pump.

U need a tune the stock tune makes it run bad call dcx depot and ask for tim tell him i sent u the tune is 125.
