Changed the transfer case oil after 14128 miles and to my surprise the oil wasnt that black after all the 2wd burnouts all the hard launches and 100 miles with the vortech. But only a 1 1/4 quart came out i let it drain over night then i put 2 quarts in and its about 1/2 inch away from the top plug.. i drove it today and the transfer case is quiet no more noises from it
I also changed the motor oil which i also let drain over night and it took 7 1/2 quarts.
next is the transmission, front and rear diff but thats after i get the valve body which is after christmas since im broke from buying presents..

Just a little FYI....if it's only 1/2" from the fill hole it's higher than the recommend fill level of 25-35mm below the fill hole.
1/2" would only be 12-13mm.

i read it someplace on the forum and they did it 1/2 inch from the whole so should i take some out or u think it will be ok.

I'd probably lower it to 1"-1.25" below the bottom of the fill hole (1"=25.4mm). An evacuation pump would probably be the easiest way to take a little out.

Correct....take some out Vinney.
I would just let some out through the lower drain plug, simple.:)
