So I had a party on friday night and a few of us were out in the front yard of my house and i heard a rumble coming. I looked up the road and sure enuf it was a Silver 07' Jeep SRT8. (Mine was parked out front) I started waving like a fool and he gave it a little poke and kept going. about 2 minutes later there it was again coming up the road and he pulled into my driveway, i excitedly went over to the driver window and started chatting him up, he was 18 and his mom was in the passenger seat... it was her beast! I go to university in Nova Scotia here and he goes to my university also. He had seen mine around town many times. This was the only other Jeep SRT8 that i have seen besides mine ever. and man the silver is nice! (i still like the black best though)... I was glad they came back for a chat I got to meet my first srt8 buddy, although iwas on the highway today and saw his mom driving it in the opposite direction, she was going back to ontario.... I tried to talk her into letting her son keep it in town for a while but she was having none of that haha.
Just though i would share my experince with you all...I was pretty damn excited

I LOVE meeting fellow SRT-8 folks. I always wave, or try to track them down just to share comments. I'm pretty surprised how snobby the 300C SRT8 people are around here in South Jersey. They either: A.) Ignore me when I try to wave or give a thumbs up or B.) drive away in a hurry.

I find it exciting to meet people who share the same interests, and I love to check out other peoples rides.

In my GTI, I get waves or beeps CONSTANTLY from fellow VW people.

I've had my GCSRT8 for 3 to 4 weeks now. Still haven't seen one on the road. I see one on the dealership floor, but thats it!

I'm pretty surprised how snobby the 300C SRT8 people are around here in South Jersey.

I had a JGC SRT8 next to me yesterday, brand new with temp tags and 22" wheels, the guy did not even look over at me, so I guess it's not only the 300drivers.

Well I haven't seen any JGC SRT8's around, but there is one 300. Actually had a guy pull into Starbucks by my Jeep, get out, walk around and look inside then come and talk to me about it:) First person that actually knew what it was. Funny thing is he was just driving by and left right after talking to me, he only stopped to talk about the Jeep.

I had a guy on the freeway in a sweet GTI waving me down and giving me the thumbs up while I was in my Charger. I run into cool people and people full of themselves all the time over here. :cool:

i run into srt8s all the time here (mostly chargers) all of them glance at you from the corner of their eye and pertend they didn't see you. it used to piss me off before but i'm over it now... BUT i get thumbs up and head nods ALL day from different car drivers and truck drivers. :)

I met this guy at the gas station a couple of months ago and he had a black Limited GC. He was gawking at SRT8 and asked me a couple of questions. Last week, I drove next to him on the street and he was "perma grinning" in his new red SRT8!

havent seen another in ct yet but i love the response i get from onlookers, taking pics, thumbs up, you name it!
