Hey man how ya been doin?
If you're needing a tune, AJ, dcx depot, and a few others can do email cmr tunes and tweak it to nearly perfect with a little datalogging, and it will save you a lot

If you're going to drive somewhere to get it tuned, I would take it over to pflugerville tx and have it tuned with inertia motorsports. That's what I'll likely be doing once I install their heads/cam/intake stuff.
What do you have on that a dyno tune is necessary for? last time i saw ya you were stock :o

I would get an intake first and if u wanna do exhaust/headers then do that also. for now i would go with an email tune from one of our vendors. Honestly there is no need to do a dyno tune without at least heads/cams. I have MHP's CMR (email) tune and love it. Hennessey in Sealy has an AWD Dyno and a great tuner Brian!

do i need a hand held tunner for the email tune? Or how does that work? I have muffler delete and res delete and some custom mufflers made for the 6.1 that my muffler shop made.

yeah u have to get a predator. then you email you tuner a copy of you stock tune from your predator along with a list of all your mods, gas type used and year of car. they will then do a custom tune based off your mods. it is a pretty simple process, your tuner will walk you through everything if you need any help.

I don't think Brian is at Hennessey anymore, I believe he is at ART in Austin or San Antonio area.

For an email CMR tune I would recommend making sure that the tuner will at least do a few data logs to make sure everything is dialed in for your Jeep. Otherwise you may end up with excessive knock retard, VE tables that are off, etc..

Wow, that was shortlived.

OP where in East Texas, as others have said you do have the choice of using a mail order tune and working with your tuner, PM me and I can recommend 1 that is not a supporting vendor. If you want a true dyno tune, I guess SHR in Nawlens is a option.
