Guys, I really thought I could get a decent deal on a dk red GCSRT8.

The salesmen I was talking to, were such j***offs......they think we
performance oriented people are dumb or something.

They wanted full sticker, then all the fees.

Anybody know where a all option loaded dk rd one is that a dealer is willing
to work with somebody on?????

I am in lower DE, and I found 2 about 2 hours away, but wanted to see if
you forum members had an inside scoop.

thanks....

I sold my 10 sec 03 Cobra with 7480 miles on it, for $28k extra slicks, skinnies
parts, and trailer.....mint condition. sad to see it go.

I want to trade my excellent conditon perfect 06 F150 in and do a cheap lease.

what is your dealership web site, so I can map it.

It seems a little too far for a guy with 2 young kids...etc....

but I appreciate the post.

I want to lease, and pay around $44500 out the door, titled tax and tagged.

I am looking into delaware's fees......no taxes(i wanna live there) 2.75% of purchase price for doc fee(kinda strange) and only $45 for title and registration.

My math comes out to about $44,130 I think.

Or you could order one from me an have it drop shipped to your local dealer...lol

I paid over MSRP, too, not by much. I can live with it... :)

But no, keep posting your prices! There are too many uneducated people insisting the Jeep SRT8 can not be had for under $10k over MSRP! I even had someone who owns a Jeep delearship tell me the same thing! I told him "You must be out of your gourd, dude."

Might as well buy as leasing is about the same per month. I thought about leasing but the payments were more than I'm paying now??? That one from champion sounds like you. Good luck.

Cobra... Don (ChampionJeep) has delivered SRT8's all oover the country, so you probably wouldn't have to travel farther than the end of your driveway.

I shopped all over before I bought mine from Don at Champion, I don't know of any other dealership that's as aggressively priced as he is. Plus, he likes to travel :)

Just because some people arent realistic doesnt mean I try to steal their trades. I love the people that believe they should get thousands off of a new vehicle an still think they should get the same money for a trade that we would sell it for.......

Thanks. I guess it just goes to show that with a trade, you are far from the lowest. At least you did not call me a *** or start swearing. I do appreciate that! Since its often hard enough to get your selling dealer to service your vehicle and do right by you, hope you guys who are shipping have no problems down the road.

Yeah thats what it shows. Let me make it extremely clear to those who just dont quite get how the car business works. When you go to buy a vehicle, work the numbers on what you are buying first. Like when I give you a number I will sell you a car for it doesnt change, regardless of what you believe a trade should be worth. Dont give a dealer the opportunity to mess with the numbers. But just because you dont like the fact that I was honest in telling you what I could put into your car, that doesnt mean my pricing sucks. You need to realize especially when dealing with someone so far away from you that maybe, just maybe your car isnt worth there what it is were you live. But I shouldnt have to mention that cause this guy already knows it all.........

This ain't my thread....BUT....I have read through all your posts "S" and although there are a few that seemed to be positive regarding Champion, there are several recently that are obviously meant in mho to "bust" him.

I'm referring to the ones with comments like "ask him how much for a trade after you buy it".....buy it near home....lots of discounts in Chicago etc etc.

I can't speak for any others, but to me it looks like since you think you got lowballed on a trade, almost every time you post in a thread where someone is talking about their good experience with Don, you gotta make a comment that is somewhat the opposite.

Just my observation........just my opinion, and of course I could be wrong.

He can talk all he wants cause thats all it is. There are enough people here who have actually bought cars from me and traded theirs in to speak for how I handle business. I usually try not to be bothered by people threatening to buy a car. My prices stay the same for all who appreciate a good deal when they see one.

shodanusmc
04-02-2007, 06:53 AM
No Chump, you can talk all you want. You offer nothing that anyone can't find else where, but you lowball on the trades. With you its save 500 on the front end, lose 4000 on the back end. But I give you credit, and least you have not resorted to calling anyone a *** or swearing. Now pack your shine box, grab your lunch, and head out on one of your delivery expeditions for a fin and change.

If anyone can get the prices I give anywhere.........then why do I sell more GCSRT8's than anyone in the country?????? Answer that since you know it all. Wait you probably cant. Give it up already. It isnt my fault you bought a car that aint worth sh$t, an I honestly dont even remember what the hell it is.

You mean I bought 3 SRT-8's and you are saying they are not worth ****? Is that part of your sale pitch? Come in 500 lower on the front end, offer 4000 less than others on the trade, and you admit that these are **** vehicles. Damn, appreciate your honesty. Go make sure the coffee pot is full and the rest room is clean.

What did you have then?? A 300? Maybe a Magnum? I will let you know the second I can start controlling the used car market out here. You were obviously important enough for me to remember you.

Enough with the public urination. You don't buy from him - he don't sell to you and we all move onto threads with less piss on them.

Don, don't take the bait on these threads. All the back and forth is doing more harm than if it would have been left alone or ignored.

One persons expectations were not met for what they thought they should get on their trade....big deal! Not the first time...won't be the last. Trade values are always arguable and very subjective.

What is not arguable are the $500 below invoice prices you are offering on GCSRT8's along with a long list of happy customers. I'm not finding that deal anywhere near me. The rest is crap.
