FastSRT8GC 03-30-2007, 09:33 PM I am thinking of building a site that will give basic direction on how to do the most common and asked about mods with photos and details. The basics are done, i just have to go take some photos and draw up some step by steps.
Please check it out and let me know suggestions welcome.

saywhat 03-30-2007, 09:56 PM :D Can you say WIN WIN !!! Best idea in a long time!!!!
saywhat 03-30-2007, 10:02 PM :D you can add the instructions for Race mesh grill and all the built in radar detectors, Up grade on the speakers, also the brakeworld brakes and new pads. and the best way to install the SRT8 custom side moldings.
SRedrockT8 03-30-2007, 10:15 PM yes please, site looks great.
FastSRT8GC 03-30-2007, 10:19 PM Well here is the deal. Most of the mods i will be doing will be on the performance end. I do have 10 years in the car audio field and will lend as much knowledge as i can.
But to make this work others will have to contribute photos and step by steps as well. Like the brakes i know the step by step with photos are out there on the LX forum and i can link to it.
Like speakers and race mesh i dont plan on these upgrades, and i dont want to remove door panels if its not needed. If someone in the area wants it done we can work on the jeep together and i will document it then. But otherwise this need to be a multi source thing. I can only buy so many parts;)

I think this is an excellent idea! It looks very professional and I guarantee you many hits when you finish it... Plus I'm sure many on the forum would be very helpful in adding additional information. :D
SRedrockT8 03-31-2007, 08:03 AM here is a link to a site that was compiled by a member of the jeep off road community. just throwing it up here if you wanted to look at how he did his. this site has helped more off roaders than you can shake a stick at.

FastSRT8GC 03-31-2007, 08:13 AM OK so its a go. I think today I will work on the Ediff and maybe the Traction control.
Those of you that have photos and step by step,or just photos please email me using that site. So i can keep it separate from my crazy amounts of businesss and junk emails.
I do have a newborn and run two businesses, so i can not promise an instant website, but my late nights are usually free. If any of you wish to help and use mac OS 10 with iweb i can save these pages and we can pass them back and forth!!
Thanks all for the input!
squigmang 03-31-2007, 09:46 AM great idea, looking forward to it

FastSRT8GC 03-31-2007, 10:35 PM This might take longer then i thought I might be over detailing things. But I dont know the mechanical ability of all of you.
Check out the EDIFF MOD, its done.
The Traction control is very similar to the Ediff so should save me some time. I will try to get it up tomorrow.
