Cleaned her all up today and now she's down for the winter nap with 977 miles on her in just a little over a months time. Anyone else going to be storing for the season ?

I like that idea :p

I won't be driving mine as much, but won't be away for good.

I don't store **** for the winter....I drive it year round, it is AWD! Oh yeah, and I am going South soon, LOL!

Hell no I bought this thing to drive not look at. The only reason I didn't buy something like a SRT challenger is the fact that it has AWD. I slapped some 18" wrangler rims on it and bought some 255/55R18 winter tires. It goes anywhere and we get alot of snow and cold.

I can not think of 1 reason why a Jeep GC SRT8 would be stored for the winter-the whole point of buying the Jeep for me is the fact it can be driven year round-its OK in the snow, not good.

Anyhow, to each his own.

I bought mine to be a year round daily driver.....so no storage for me.

I probably drive it more in the winter time since I have more free time.

I store mine. I drove it one winter and that was enough for me! I go to the north country quite often and the Jeep wasnt able to get me around so I bought a 99 expedition for 3600.00 and i drive that in the winter. Its nice having it around as we use it to haul stuff and I dont have to worry about trashing it! I froze my ass off trying to keep the Jeep clean in the winter as I will not use the drive thru car wash. With the Ford I could care less.

I plan to drive mine all winter long, I am still undecided about winter rims though. I am fortunate enough to have a touch less/hand car wash down the street from me. They run it through the touchless wash and then 3-5 people dry it off and detail the rims. It will be there at least once a week, probably twice as long as it is not snowing.

Tell them NOT to dry it unless you want to pay for a huge paint correction come spring time!

They do my detail work too, so I am not worried about it. Since I only use them for car wash and detail if it were to need paint correction (which I do not think will happen) they will take care of it for me. They have washed my Jeep at least once per week since I bought it. It is not like "most" car washes. They do not even have rails to potentially scratch the rims, it is truly touchless. I should add, that they use clean towels as to not "rub the dirt in".

They also took my wife's black car, that had been abused through a brush wash on many occasions, and made it look better than the day I picked it up with 74 miles on the Odometer.

If anything AVOID the brush washes, they will cause you to need paint correction.

NOPE. Daily driving FTW. On those days when the weather breaks its so much fun to STILL be fastest from stoplight to stoplight!

It's the winter road salt that bothers me :( I guess it's because of my job thats made me this way

I thought about parking it and then told myself....WTF who am I kidding? It's a Jeep LOL not a Lambo. Heck it wont depreciate less if I park it so why bother. Just giving the next guy a better deal. NOW why the hell would I want to do that? LOL
