: I want my exhaust to be offensive-who's is the LOUDEST!!
MOTV8D 03-30-2007, 03:03 AM I like my vehicles loud-I don't care about drone :D
I am wanting the loudest system that is still a full on quality catback. It sounds like the Corsa/Mopar is a little conservative and the BB is having quality issues.
Magnaflow? Zoomers? Others?
MatFab 03-30-2007, 03:10 AM borla may soon... have to wait and see
GodfatherSRT8 03-30-2007, 08:00 AM Zoomers all the way.
mike123 03-30-2007, 09:00 AM B&B with the loud option (round mufflers)

I second the Zoomers. I have the new, improved and it is still pretty aggressive. The clip above doesn't do it justice:) I can only imagine what the first one is like.

david borla 03-30-2007, 11:07 AM If your primary concern is achieving the greatest possible decible level I recommend simply replacing the stock mufflers with straight pipes. This can be done inexpesively at your local muffler shop.
Borla's "loud" or "S-type" system will still employ some sound attenuation as we believe that a deep, throaty, bone marrow shaking tone is as essential as a high decible level.
In fact, even our regular system for the SRT8 will have a deep and throaty tone that is significantly louder than stock.
Please beware, our "S-Type" system will be quite loud and perhaps not within the legal decibel limit for street use in your state.
I bet that most of you will prefer the regular Borla system rather than the "S-type" but we will find out for sure when the products reach the marketplace.
Thanks again for your feedback!

Sounds good, but I'm skeptical on B&B because of the split welds people have been having.
Crank 03-30-2007, 12:25 PM I am taking my BBs off with the loud option they do sound mean. I do want to get rid of them because borla is putting a new system onmy truck. Hope it sounds as loud and vicious.

Lucky bastard.
haplain 03-30-2007, 01:30 PM MINE!!!!! Exhaust cut-out when I'm feeling roudy. $480 for all the part + $150 installed = cheaper and louder than any exhaust system you can buy. Plus you can control when and how loud it is.

How soon will these systems be available and will you have sound clips on your website for both systems
MOTV8D 04-02-2007, 10:07 AM Thanks for all of the replies.
I had a Borla system on my 2001 Ford F150. The quality was second to none, but it was quite quiet. I can say that I felt a difference in low-end grunt and the high-end was really impressive.
Maybe it was just the F150 Supercrew unit, but it seemed like almost the same decibel level as stock. I really have heard a lot of other Borla systems. They are not that popular up here in Alaska. I was stopped and asked about by Borla system all of the time.
Sounds like B&B or Zoomers win the loud race. I thought about changing mufflers, but it appears that could cause a lose in low-end grunt.
AlexT 04-03-2007, 04:15 AM I love the B&B sound both inside and out. No quality issues yet.

Magnaflow? Zoomers? Others?
By the end of next week I'll have kooks, high-flow, and magnaflow catback. I'm also having electric cutouts put in so I can have 'toggle activated' control over loud and quiet. The cutouts will go just behind the cats.
