What is the best ride height for our vehicles?
What are the downfalls of the PM springs?
What are the upsides of the PM springs?
What are the downfalls of the Eibach springs?
What are the upsides of the Eibach spring?
What would the best combo overall be?
I am asking this because I have the opportunity to have another option for our vehicles made to our specs, let me know....

Eibach spring rate but instead of 1.0"f/1.1"r, do 1.0"f/1.25"r
It will look even and ride good.

What is the spring rate for the eibach? The spring rate for the RM is front is 760 rear 300. We can change that if needed. We can change the spring progression as well. Maybe only drop the rear 1.25, same amount of coils but put more space in the middle keeping the same on the top an bottom?
Over all what are we looking for... Raked look, soft on the highway, firm when on it, no bottoming out...
All input needed, I am working with someone who will make us the ideal set up. I will be the test subject, let me know.

RM is way too soft in the rear.
I drove a buddy's Jeep with them and was bottoming out the rear like crazy. But another friend has them and they aren't horrible....but still too soft, IMO.
As for spring rate, I don't think that Eibach will divulge that info. Definitely firmer than stock. I believe the RM rears are actually softer than stock.
I'd have to measure, but maybe more like a 1.3-1.4" rear drop would level it out.
Issue with a real nice progressive rate (IMO) is the lack of space before hitting the bumpstop.
I'd be after a more leveled look...with the tire to body gap being equal front and rear or 0.1" taller in the rear.
No bottoming out, and a nice soft foam bumpstop like the Eibachs.

Yeah I agree that a 1.3 to 1.4 " drop would be nice to make the Jeep look more even on all 4 cornerswith the spring rate of the Eibachs. Also like Dc Special said the rears on the Bwoodys are softer than stock and I have heard many complaints of people bottoming out.
Buy some of the coilovers that are being released soon and you will have 3 inches to play with.

I trying to give us another option without the price of a coilover. Once I finally get my 2010 I will take everybodies input and try some different spring configurations to see what feels best. My 2010 is lost or on hold somewhere and the dealer is trying to find out where:(

The adjustability of the front coilover/rear spring setup that is being worked on is appealing.
I am interested in seeing how they ride once they come out.
But if I could get the height I'd like and the ride I'd like for a fraction of the cost I would definitely look into that option :D

You're no fun, come on and join in on the coil-over installation party.

Coilovers could be the ****.....but without knowing the spring rate and valving used, I'll wait until I ride in them :D
